“Had a dinner in the Basement. Witch theme decor for Halloween. Service was great. We had the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. They were done perfectly with a great crunch outside and gooey inside. The chicken was a bit dry and broccoli was cold. The smash burger was good and great sweet potato fries.“

“We hosted an end of the season tackle football banquet for 50 people in the party room at JJ Twig’s in Wauconda tonight. Tiffany was a dream to work with — super responsive, accommodating, and had great insight into just how much food to order. The party room was the perfect private venue that allowed our rambunctious group of 10 year old boys some space to roam without disturbing other diners. Food was good — we ordered pizzas, baked mostaccioli, meatballs, chicken tenders and salad. Compared to other local venues we considered, JJ Twig’s is a real value. Along with the good food and great service, JJ Twig’s is the full package!“

“I just went for the first time. My husband had been multiple times with the neighborhood guys. I am inspired to review because we loved Kathy who works Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. She eas fun, engaging and seems committed to making this business succeed. She introduced us to trivia night on Wed and bingo night on Monday. She was so happy. So friendly. So welcoming. The food was really good. Wed has 10 dollar burgers. I had the burger with an egg. Craig had the BBQ burger. You can get the fries or add tots or sweet tater fries. I enjoyed the G.O.A.T. Fashioned and Craig enjoyed the beer. Craig goes for a boys night there occasionally and he enjoyed the food and drinks specials. I recommend this place. Everyone seems happy to be there.“

“I ran into the Giordano’s off Lake St and Michigan Ave tonight just to get quarters for parking (unfortunately we had already eaten somewhere else). I gotta say that the staff was SO NICE and so kind about it that next time I’m over that way I will be eating there just because of the interactions I had tonight with a few staff members. As a non-customer tonight they didn’t have to help me out but they did and did it happily and were all super friendly. “One of my favorite places in Cary. Great owner, super nice and a great business man. I have tried a few different dishes from here and am obsessed with their caprese salad, chopped salad, buffalo chicken wrap, and their cauliflower crust pizza. They have delivery and also pickup. Their fruit when in season is super fresh and I honestly cant even find that fresh at a grocery store. Sometimes I drive 20 minutes to pick up their super fresh caprese salad and fruit side. Definitely recommend giving this place a shot if you haven't already!!! By far one of my favorite go to in Cary!“

“Enjoyed your pizza at a friend’s wedding this week. Your pear and prosciutto pizza has to be one of the best pizza creations I have ever had. Wow!!! Absolutely beautiful pizza creations and display! The shrimp ceviche cups, cucumber rolls, everything looked and tasted amazing. You all worked well in the heat and under pressure. Never an empty spot of food on the table for guests to select from. “My previous review was accidentally deleted by me, but let me just say that this is by far the best bar around the Chicagoland area. Firstly, let me start by raving about Colleen, the GOAT of bartenders! She is an absolute sweetheart! From the first day she made me feel at home! If you are new, she goes up to you, introduces herself and hands you a napkin. She has the most awesome and proper etiquette for the hospitality industry. Colleen is an absolute godsend! I do not know a single person who badmouths her. She also makes the best margaritas and rums/cokes! She remembers your name as wel and starts calling you by your name on the second day. The other bartenders are amazing as well. On Tuesdays and Thursdays when I go in, Lisa remembers my drink and food order. She is also a gem as well! As far as the food goes, the chicken bacon ranch wrap is one of the best I have ever eaten. The Cheddar Cheese burger is amazing as well. Seriously this place is a great find. As far as the reviews calling this place racist are concerned, to each their own: I have never had any issues and I am disabled and asian that is like a double negative. It is the most inclusive place around town!“

“5/26/26 - dinner with friends! I had the Alamo chicken sandwich. Per the menu - marinated, grilled chicken breast with cheddar cheese, Bacon on Texas Toast and Parmesan fries. It sounds really good! When I got it it was cut in half and I noticed that there was a slice of tomato 🍅 melted into the cheese on the chicken breast. But I hate tomatoes and it was a good thing that I am not allergic to them. Had it been on the menu I would have made sure that I didn't order it. Anyways also there was very little BBQ sauce and the chicken breast was dry and tough to chew. Also I ordered Parmesan fries 🍟 and they were just plain fries.
Usually when I am out by myself I definitely would have sent it back. But since I was with friends I didn't want to make them wait any longer.“
