“We are newbies to this establishment. Everything looked good, hard to choose but we had the Reuban sandwiches. They were huge, yummy and loved the little side of pasta salad. The little side is pretty small. My suggestion is to place the cole slaw size in. We ordered soup too but we were too stuffed to touch it. So another meal for another day. My husband said the slaw was delicious and I thought the cookies were just the right compliment after the delicious meal. Thanks. We will be ordering again.“

“Been going to this bakery since moving to McHenry this past April, we’ve only ever gotten donuts and more specialized desert treats but my boyfriend got my birthday cake there in July either vanilla or marble - it was SO good and I’m not a big cake person.. well the other day I decided to purchase his birthday cake there - got a chocolate cake with whipped cream frosting… best cake I’ve ever had. “Who doesn't love bakeries? Not only do they have the tastiest baked goods, but their staff is always outgoing and friendly. Donuts, coffee cake, bread, what have you, I've never been disappointed. My favorite: apricot coffee cake and their apple bread. My dog's favorite: old fashioned donut (he sits outside and howls while I'm inside. “Today I was so excited to try the Buttermilk Donut. The cashier was so sweet and told me it was one of her favorites. I get home and notice she put two donuts in the bag instead of one. Literally made my day, just as great as she said! Wish I had her name but she had a lip piercing and was overall so cheerful and happy. I always end up with bags of goodies when coming here specially the Conchas, you can never have too much for breakfast with your coffee. Best to come early morning when everything is still fresh. Wish they had discounted price for items later in the day like 75% off left over items jejeje. I love everything with sugar, Piña, and strawberries, or blueberries.“
