“Azul was recommended to us by a friend. We had the steak tacos and had to try their Cochinta Pibil tacos. Their steak tacos had great flavor, with a nice selection of salsas. Their Cochinta Pibil tacos are a must try! Their Cochinta recipe is over 100 yrs old and has been handed down to the owner. It definitely shows in its unique and distinctive flavor topped with a traditional pickled red onion with a touch of habanero. So good!!! They have a small menu, but it's about quality and not quantity. The drinks were great, and the service and hospitality from the owners was very good. You can tell they take pride in their dishes. We'll definitely be back again for their authentic Cochinta tacos, and look forward to trying their other menu items.“

“Discovered this place while biking to catch the BNSF back to Chicago. Usually would bike past to hop on the train at Western Springs or LaGrange Road. But one day I stopped short and popped in here. Really impressed by the selection of beer, wine, and whiskey. Before the Derby, they had three different bottles of Blanton's Bourbon. I asked for a smell (it's not Jimmy John's, I know) and they obliged me without so much as a blink of the eye. Quite an impressive wine selection. They are serious about their libations and happy to share their knowledge. I really like this place. Good vibe and great drinks. Check it out. Not sure why some clown gave it two stars. “I've come here a few times. This brewery is a little tricky to find since it's located by warehouses. They have a pretty cool logo and the name is super interesting with a backstory. I liked certain beers over others; but the nice thing is they have lots of options. You could bring food and they have games like darts, board games and card games and shuffle board. And best part.... It's dog friendly! Just careful because it gets crowded and it's not really big“
“Always easy-going bartenders with lots of local craft beers on tap, plus a good selection of bottle and cans. Ciders and NA beers as well. Bartenders will give you a taster before you buy a 5 or 12 oz pour. Customers friendly too, sit right at the bar or outside at tables under umbrellas and strike up a conversation. Board games are available inside. Seen beer drinking parents bring their little kids sometimes. You can bring your well-mannered dog inside too.“
“Long time since I have been to Neena's; so sorry to hear of Lupe's passing. I can tell you that the food was as great as it was 10 years ago and would recommend this place for real authentic southern Mexico tacos they are truly the best on the south side of Chicago.Parking: I haven't been there in at least 10 years, since that time they have redone their parking lot and made it way more accommodating for patrons to park. There is still street parking also that does not have meters.“

“We had our wedding reception in the Barrel Room at the Downers Grove location in September. Lisa was amazing to work with from start to finish! She was responsive to my hundreds of emails (almost not kidding) and always available when I would reach out to look at the space. She helped me work out my vision for the space, was present during our rehearsal to make sure the initial setup was what I wanted and then was around the entire day of our wedding to make sure things went smoothly.We loved Alter before our wedding, but she and the staff are definitely a reason we will keep coming back and recommending events being held there! Also, not to leave out how awesome the beer is.“

“Had a coworker's retire party here. We had finger food and drinks. The area was roped off. Only minor issue was the roped area was across from the bar and didn't allow for much movement around the tables or to easily get at the food area. The Left Hand Milk Stout was great. The selection of beers is wonderful (see photo). Located on the first floor. Handicap parking accessible.Parking: Handicap parking available.Wheelchair accessibility: The front door is not handicapped accessible. For how packed the place was when we were there, I think getting about in a wheelchair would be difficult but not impossible.“
“Ventured out to 3 Corners in Lemont for their Thursday Specials. This was my first time at the Lemont location but have frequented their Nee Lenox location. Thursday's specials were a $12 Chicken Tender Meal (with side) and $6 martinis. The martini offering was straight forward: dirty, espresso, french, some specialty ones. Spirits included were house level and a bit sugary for my liking. If you're not a strong martini person, these would be great for you! Overall, the flavors were good! We started with the pretzel bites which we were a bit surprised they weren't salted. What I did love is the amount of sauce these came with! How many times one has to dip less to ensure each bite still got cheese or honey mustard; not a concern here! The honey mustard was a pleasant sweetness too with less of a bite. I got the garlic parm boneless wings which were delicious! The sauce had a hit of a zing. I wish they weren't served on the bed of lettuce so I could scoop up more of the sauce. My partner liked the chicken tender meal but appearance does not look like your typical tenders. He also loved the tater tot side offering!“
