Restaurantji's Lincoln guide: Where to find the ultimate Mexican flavors.
“I am a HUGE fan of Mexican food. I lived in the San Diego area for many years. Mexican food was a part of daily life. Either made at home or in the plethora of restaurants that San Diego offered. So, now I live in Springfield and up until recently, it's been a struggle to find good Mexican food, that scratches that itch. Rio Grande, in Lincoln, will now be added to my short list of GREAT Mexican food restaurants. Our waiter, Steve was fantastic. I asked for his recommendations. Which he was happy to do. Our sodas were served in pitchers. How fantastic is that. The chicken Fajitas was tender, juicy and very flavorful. Back to Steve our waiter. He was hysterical. I tipped him $10.00 for the show alone.“
“Traveling thru, staying overnight in the area, we stopped in for dinner on a Monday night. I had combo number 2, a chalupa, enchilada & taco, which I really enjoyed. Husband got the chipotle fajitas, which he LOVED. The parking lot looked busy, but we were seated quickly& got food quickly. Staff was courteous & fast. Salsa s little bland but all in all, we had a nice meal.“
