“We had been to the original Red Sun a couple of times, but it wasn’t our favorite. Our favorite place is further away (in Mundelein). We tried the New Red Sun this evening, thinking it wouldn’t be able to compete, but wow, it was amazing! We got the Crabmeat Rangoon, General Tso’s Chicken, and Hunan Tofu Vegetables. Everything was cooked fresh, it had great flavor, and the portion sizes and pricing was reasonable. It very closely compared to our favorite place and we will definitely be back there soon and ask for extra spicy General’s Chicken!“
