We ordered box lunches for a business meeting for 45 people. Gale, who initially took my order was extremely accommodating and detail oriented which helped to set my mind at ease. She made helpful suggestions and they were able to accommodate all of our food/special diet requests.

I also worked with Ron (owner) who was equally accommodating and took care to make sure our order was accurate, delivered on time, and, of course, delicious! Everyone enjoyed the food and we got several requests for the name of the service we used.

I would definitely recommend and use again. As an added plus, their pricing was MUCH more reasonable than other local options.“

I went in knowing zero about Burmese cuisine, but was walked through a series of dishes that have become instant classics that I crave: tofu gyaw, the tea salad, kyarzan thoke, chicken mango, and the goat curry. Our group of nearly 80 people were very comfortable in the private room. There was plenty of room for our guests to enjoy a standing cocktail hour followed with a sit down dinner. We've had the pleasure of being served by Anna a few times now and she does a great job. She is attentive and watchful, without being overbearing which is a difficult skill to master for a lot of servers. Aside from that, I love that it is a safe place for folks with food allergies and I feel very well taken care of in respect to that issue. I can tell that everyone from the hosts to the servers to the bartenders to the kitchen staff are very well trained in creating a safe and welcoming experience for each guest. Glen Prairie is quickly becoming one of our go to family favorite restaurants and we will definitely be back!“

“I’ve been to Greece four different times, and I can tell you right now — Greek Islands gets as close to authentic Greek food as you can possibly get without boarding a flight to Athens.

The food was simply amazing. The chicken kebabs were perfectly seasoned, juicy, and grilled exactly the way they do it overseas. And the Mediterranean chicken with rice Wow. Full of flavor, tender, and seasoned in a way that instantly brings you back to a seaside taverna. Every bite tasted fresh no shortcuts here.

The calamari was so fresh, I could’ve sworn Poseidon brought the octopus in himself. Lightly breaded, perfectly fried, and incredibly tender — not rubbery at all. That’s how you know it’s the real deal.

The restaurant was super busy, and honestly, I could tell why. When a place is packed like that, it usually means one thing: they’re doing something right. The aesthetics of the restaurant are super cool too — it has that vibrant, warm Greek vibe that makes the whole experience feel authentic and lively.

“The chili is good. Entered into a chili competition at work and really didnt feel like cooking. Purchased 4 quarts of chili and told my co-workers how I slaved over making this chili, putting just the right spices in to give it its unique taste. Everyone loved it! I lost 1st place by two points, probably because the judge can't add, but whatever. And yes, those are hotdogs in the picture. We made chili dogs. Their cream of chicken soup is good too.“
