“Went to the Chicago Waffle House in Willowbrook with friends today Had the best skillet-The Short Rib Skillet- Fantastic with Lavazza coffee not to mention great service. We’ll be back soon“

Had the oxtail. Overall very good. Note that it’s served over rice so don’t get the rice and gravy side dish.

The oxtail was very tender except for one piece. That one for some reason was very dry and hard to chew.

Note that the sauce seems very peppery. It was not spicy, just had a very strong pepper taste.

A good option for some soul food.“

“First time me and my husband have been here. As we walked in our hands were shipped by the owner, which was a great welcome. The waffle was amazing. Presentation of the waffle was great. The eggs were cooked properly. Coffee was wonderful, including a craft at the table, lemon water was placed on the table as well. If I am in this area as I live two hours away I will certainly return. I recommend this place highly for a wonderful breakfast. Nice big menu but not too overwhelming. Give it a try. “I've been there 2x this week for breakfast. First time I had the chicken fried steak and fruit. While not much on presentation (not an easy dish to " spiff up"), it was delicious. The service was a bit slow. Today I had the gypsy skillet and substituted for the fruit. Better presentation. Server remembered me and was was very attentive. I hope to go back for their new dinner. Maybe they could table tent some of the different dinners?“
