“Had a group of 19 women in for lunch today. Went in last week to let staff know we were coming on Monday at 11 am. I arrived, no tables were set up and I had to help arrange tables. All of our meals were very good. There was a huge variety on the menu choices. I asked our waitress if I might have a gift card ( $10 or $15) to draw from among the women. Was told the manager could not get ahold of the owners to ask if this was okay. Really? Anyway, every 2 months I make a reservation for us all to go to lunch. Never been turned down before. All the food was great. This just rubbed me the wrong way.”

“I would give 5 stars but the service isn't always good. My group goes for bingo every Tuesday night and there's only 1 waitress who gives fantastic service. We had another waitress for a few weeks when our favorite waitress Huntar was on maternity leave. The service was terrible. Some food was never delivered. Drinks were never refilled. We all agreed if our favorite waitress wasn't working we wouldn't order any food.”

The drinks are always timely and made well, even when they are super busy. Whoever added sig codes to my drink today, I wanted to say thank you. “This place is great and no nonsense. You want fast, cheap, great Chinese take out this is the place. Order is always done in like 10mins. Checkout clerk has the process dialed in and out. Also cheaper than elsewhere in town with larger portions. Sweet and sour, Orange chicken, Pepper steak, all are great.”

“I usually go to the location in south Rouckford on state street. We decided to order to this location not knowing this is a chain restarant. My mistake, I pre ordered online two hours in advance. I arrived 15 minutes late and I still waited ten minutes for my food, no big deal right...things happen. What made me comment is when I got home, two orders were missing, the sushi we ordered had minimal fish but packed with cucumber, which is used as a filler. The rolls were basically vegetarian....very disappointed. I hate to leave a poor review but this was a $80 dinner that was not good. The location on state street has never done this.”
