“Really fantastic pizza! Best around.”

“Gyros are my weakness and no one has had everything for a gyro be authentic until here tonight and it was amazing. Something else is my husband normally eats more than just his meal and he didn't tonight why some may ask that's because he was full off of his. Even my little one was satisfied with her meal. The atmosphere is amazing too with the life size marvel characters throughout the entire restaurant. Definitely will be returning.

“One of my favorite spots! The vibe inside is just the right mix of cozy and cool—like if your stylish friend with great taste in beer opened a pub. Their salads make me feel responsible, their burgers make me forget I was trying to be, and the fries? Let’s just say they disappear faster than my willpower. Add in great drinks, and it’s basically my happy place. Highly recommend!”

“We went here for my birthday dinner, because we wanted to try somewhere new. Definitely did not disappoint and our main dishes were plenty of food. 100% recommend KBQ if you love Asian cuisine!”

“Had a group of 19 women in for lunch today. Went in last week to let staff know we were coming on Monday at 11 am. I arrived, no tables were set up and I had to help arrange tables. All of our meals were very good. There was a huge variety on the menu choices. I asked our waitress if I might have a gift card ( $10 or $15) to draw from among the women. Was told the manager could not get ahold of the owners to ask if this was okay. Really? Anyway, every 2 months I make a reservation for us all to go to lunch. Never been turned down before. All the food was great. This just rubbed me the wrong way.”

“This is the best food truck option in the state line area! We live in Freeport and drive to Rockford just to get Kodai! Customer service is always exceptional and the food is made with love! Prices are unbeatable for good quality Japanese food! Everything we’ve tried has been amazing, excellent quality and fresh! Some of the BEST, crispy gyozas I’ve tried (Japanese and Korean food are our fav so we’ve tried a lot!). My only suggestion would be to consider doing a yummy yummy and yucky yucky sauce like the interactive Japanese hibatchi restaurants. Don’t get me wrong their yum yum sauce is good but it’s mayo based. Normally I do not eat mayo based yum yum sauces but I do really like theirs. If they had those ginger sauce and a mustard sauces they would get alllllllll my money!”

“I just really love it here. There’s always a place for me and always a happy face to serve me. The food is great, everything is great and the friendly atmosphere means everything to me. I’m an older single female and usually come for the fish fry on Fridays but everything I’ve had here is very good. I never get any weird looks for being alone and female whether I sit at a table or the bar and that means the world to me because sometimes I just want to get away. I would give them more stars if I could because I’ve been here quite a few times now and the service has always been second to none and that’s very hard to find these days. Always a pleasure to have a bite to eat or just chill out!”

Told owner would like to try in future I took menu coming out valley produce owner Frank caught me in parking lot a gave me a meatball to try was great. “I’ve stopped in 2x now for takeout and have tried the quesabirria tacos, chicken tinga tostada, ribeye tacos, fish tacos, carnitas tacos (and burrito), and carne molina (ground beef) tacos. The chicken tinga is amazing and everything I’ve had was on point. The carnitas burrito had rice in it, which I don’t like, so next time I will order it without. The service is quick and the servers are friendly. I like this place and recommend that you give them a spin.”

“Casey's Pub was recently bought by an Entrepreneur that has put heart and soul into the place. The food selection was big. The taste was fine. The pool table was in excellent condition. And the pool cues were fiberglass! So all of them rolled perfectly smooth! Imagine That! Fun place for lunch or dinner ?️!?”

“This coffee shop is a gem! I'll happily pass four other cafes to enjoy the royal treatment at this Starbucks. The baristas are quick, warm, and always recommend delightful drinks that brighten my day.

One barista, in particular, seems to know exactly what I want every time—she’s practically a mind reader! Whether I’m using the drive-thru or stepping inside, this location never disappoints.

“I usually go to the location in south Rouckford on state street. We decided to order to this location not knowing this is a chain restarant. My mistake, I pre ordered online two hours in advance. I arrived 15 minutes late and I still waited ten minutes for my food, no big deal right...things happen. What made me comment is when I got home, two orders were missing, the sushi we ordered had minimal fish but packed with cucumber, which is used as a filler. The rolls were basically vegetarian....very disappointed. I hate to leave a poor review but this was a $80 dinner that was not good. The location on state street has never done this.”

“I really loved this place. The food was great ? You can tell everything is fresh. They do not cut corners at all! The portions are perfect and the woman was so kind. I believe her name was Suda or Suma. I can’t remember but she was very kind and helpful. Will be going again!”

“This place is a diamond in the rough. Great location, good hours. Using their online ordering system makes things seamless. I tend to order different things every time and the staff never messes up my order. I haven’t ordered something I didn’t enjoy but there are some specialities that are my favorites. Best beef lo mein in town. It makes even better leftovers, especially when I have a hangover.

Just don't go on Tuesdays cause they are usually closed.”

“This place is great and no nonsense. You want fast, cheap, great Chinese take out this is the place. Order is always done in like 10mins. Checkout clerk has the process dialed in and out. Also cheaper than elsewhere in town with larger portions. Sweet and sour, Orange chicken, Pepper steak, all are great.”

“Good food an many people sit for hours going back every 15 min. if Golden Chopsticks charged by the hour the staff would get paid the food would be hot. Seems many want to eat all night for 15.99 an no tip. I took my grand girls there an we had great service ate an left after 45 mins. The waitress was so grateful to get a tip. Limit the tables to one hour an charge again. I am sure the food will be hot then.”
