“The food comes out very fast. Their garlic toast is awesome, and the chicken is good. Dipping sauce is good, could use a few options for people who prefer BBQ, Honey Mustard, or the likes. Not that they need 20 sauces, just a few tried and true for people who prefer it. Honestly the chicken here is good enough plain, that I use the dipping sauce for my fries.”

“I was in on a Friday and had the fish. It was very good. The hot Bbq sauce was nice to add to the fish. The fries were good but the fish was so much food I barely had room for sides. This restaurant is off the beaten path in a commercial park. The lot was filled with workers on a Friday. A testimonial to a good plate for the price”

“Once every year my wife and I drive out west to visit family and friends and then return. We always stop in Marion, IL as it is perfectly situated for us to stay here after a day of driving. So heading out and returning we have discovered this restaurant. We love the General Tso's chicken here! It is a family owned place and do not be surprised if one of the kids takes your payment as they help out in the restaurant. The reason we love the Tso's chicken here is that they use big nice chunks of chicken breast. There is no fat, no gristle and the sauce is perfectly balanced with a bit of sweet and a bit of heat. Most places we get Gen. Tso's chicken tend to use cheap meat and it feels like the fried batter is what you end up eating. Here it is the opposite. you feel like your getting mostly meat. Also the fried rice is really tasty with lots of different vegetables in it. The crab rangoons are great and are actually filled with stuff, again not just fried batter. Every year we come through we hope they don't change anything and so far so good we love it!”

“We ate at The Turn for the first time last night to celebrate our anniversary. I had heard that their food was very good and I have to say that all the reviews were right and the service was good. We had the rib eye steak which was seasoned just right and was tender and easy to cut along with asparagus on the side and mashed potatoes. Also the drinks were fabulous and made fresh. We will definitely be going back.”

I couldn't believe how condescending the hostess was to them! To say I'M NOT YOUR WAITRESS!!!! Wow. Then for the supervisor to laugh it off. Unprofessional and because of that, we will not be back.”

“My husband and I stayed overnight in Marion. We had heard that we must dine at Bennie's & ask for their tamales. The first meal the tamales were already gone so we returned 2 days later and voila' we got to enjoy them along with a garlic salad. Delish!”

2nd review. Food was horrible , didn't receive appetizer until after main course. Had the shrimp, peppers and onions ,oil in the fryer was burnt and old ! Never received any response from management no apologies from them at all....”

I like mine well done so when I call and order it they always fix it like I like it and they are very kind . They give me water for my spoiled dog if we get there too early. They are angels that cook awesome. And you can get one piece or 100. All will be done and yummy.”

“Don't come here if you are in a hurry. Because they are not. The parking lot was practically empty and only two tables were occupied when we arrived. We were there 25 minutes before they even dropped the country fried steak into the fryer. $5 for 3 small pieces of paper thin bacon. The gravy was cold. The group that came in much later than us had their food at the same time as us. Toilet paper in the back womens bathroom stall was not accessible. It seemed the latch that allowed that second roll to to be accessible when the first roll was gone was broken. The other toilet looked like it hadn't been flushed in some time. The eating area did appear cleanly. They did keep your coffee cup full.”

“I wanted to give a shout-out to Jackpot Joe’s and their wonderful staff. Stopped in there on Friday and I can’t even begin to tell you how great of an experience we all had while we were there. Very courteous, thoughtful and accommodating staff! On a scale of 1-10 I give them a 15! Will define back!”

I ordered the country fried steak, it came with eggs hash browns and my choice of bread. I told my waitress I wanted biscuits and ask for butter. Then I added a order of biscuits and gravy also. when our food arrived I noticed the waitress had forgotten my biscuits that came with my country fried steak dinner. I was told they gave me biscuits with my gravy, when I asked about my biscuits n butter that came with my meal, I was told they put the biscuits with my gravy and only charged me for a bowl of gravy. When I ask why when I ask for biscuits and butter because it came with my meal (I wanted it for my eggs) I was told again She had giving me 2 biscuits. the waitress then held up 4 fingers and said you want 4 biscuits?? I said I want what came with my meal. Then again she held up 4 fingers and said if you want 4 biscuits I can bring you 4 biscuits at that point I was just fed up with the conversation and asked if I could please get some butter. The butter was cold and was not spreadable lol The entire time we were there we were not offered a refill on our drinks, two of our party of 4 finished half of there meal with no drinks. The food was really good just was really disappointed in the service.”

“Two girls working with the amount of advertising this company doesnt provide anymore. Thats why Applebees is going out of business. There was one hostess and one bartender/server that did PHENOMENAL. I just hated seeing them work so hard! Please apply to work here and help those girls out 💕 The food was delivered quickly and hot. “This was my first time here to eat. Food was great. Although the tables were a bit messy, I'll contribute that to they just had the lunch rush and haven't had a chance to clean them. I got the burrito bowl with chicken, black beans, white rice, lettuce and sour cream. It was very good. The atmosphere is nice. The price was cheaper than I had thought it would be at $13.63 for the bowl and a small soda.”
