“We were visiting Starved Rock State Park this month, and decided we wanted pizza for dinner and found this restaurant. We looked up some reviews ahead of time and confirmed that it is Cash Only. When you walk in, they ask you what toppings do you want, what size pizza, and what drinks you want. They have a thin crust pizza and the toppings were all fresh. I would highly recommend stopping in, or doing a pickup/Togo order to try out this pizza.“

“Just love this place, great variety, there’s something for everyone. Garlic parm tenders are my fav, breakfast is good and I really like their pizza too. I place my order and it’s always ready by the time I get to town. When I use delivery it comes fast. Never disappointed!!!“

“We stayed at the Holiday Inn Club Vacations Resort down the road. This is literally the only food place near by.
My go-to is the Healthy Choice Pizza with Chicken added. Wings are okay. Not a fan of the loaded potato wedges. Good breaded mushrooms. My boys love the Meat Lovers Pizza....Fettuccine Alfredo was good.
What I would not buy again are the fried pickles...a palm size serving for 7 bucks...no thanks.
What made my night was the Tiramisu & Cannoli.
What I wouldn't care for is the lack of customer service. The young lady working the register, either she's forcefully there against her will or she's being overworked. I can't think of any other explanation for her dismissive attitude. Not rude, but not approachable.
Although we only do pickup, I can't say I would dine in. The place is rundown and there's not much room to comfortably sit.“
“we got a takeout pizza and it was FABULOUS. i'm originally from chicago, and this really, really felt like a chicago pizza from back home. the crust is like one of the best crusts i've ever had in my life. we got the hot sauce on the side, the pizza here really is as good as they say. SOOOO good. beautiful little bit of crisp on the cheese. i mean really darn good. and the price is good, yes it's cash only. but i can see why people in the area love this place so much because it's that good.“

“New Chicago tavern style was AMAZING!! So impressed! Thank you for the people working on 8/8.. you guys did a great job. Haven’t had PH in years but It was an amazing pizza and I’m SHOCK but I honestly enjoyed this so much I would definitely get it again.“
