Clean restroom. Only issue was we had a large group and the restroom is a single. Other than that, great experience.
First time inside Panda Express in Mattoon. The person at the counter was very helpful and very pleasant. I requested my food to be made fresh and they did. I don't know if that's a customary thing. I enjoyed everything about the place.
Drive thru order delayed because they ran out of noodles. Order taker was having a bad day. Rice was very dry & they gave us zero packets of sweet & sour sauce.

Other reviews say every other establishment has been better. Fried rice often cold and not fully seasoned, tastes heavily of oil. Protein often not fully coated in sauce. Some suggest taking the drive to go to Effingham.
Panda Express is a reliable stand‑by when craving rice dishes. This Panda met that expectation and the facility is well run. The staff were gracious and made us feel welcome. Service is always exceptional, with an amazing atmosphere. Food was good, service fast, but the dining area is small, tables close together, and some tables were not cleaned.
