“The food was good. I loved the cemitas. I had cemita de milaneza de pollo. I also tried the tlacloyo de frijol y chicaron. The green salsa is spicier than the red salsa. I would definitely go again for the cemitas and tacos arabes.
The dining area and booths are very cozy.”

“The owner is a very sweet person with welcoming vibes. The refreshers are great; my most favorite refresher is the blue blast. My favorite smoothie there is Mixed Berries with add on peanut butter and granola pieces. They also have Wi-Fi. Highly recommend you guys to check this place out some day!”

I ordered the philly egg roll and the j*** chicken egg roll. They were both very tasty. I will return to try others.”

“My Fraternity Brother Anthony Williams and partner Byron Diggs when not bringing great joy as a part of the Our Lady of Our Lady of Africa Parish, Chicago Eucharistic Ensemble have a great Cafe in Maywood right off of I 290. It is called Meal of the Day and has some great southern cuisine in an establishment on the 4th floor of a business complex overlooking I 290. It is appointed with some great art from notable black artists . There is also a banner from Hales Franciscan Class of 1979 , not sure what that’ s all about .. lol! They also do on site catering and have fed the masses after masses at their home church . Check them out ! My fraternity brother has been telling me for years to make the drive and wifey and I finally did and it was so worth it ! .”

“Cool neighborhood spot that gets the job done! Mississippi sausage and ham off the bone really good going to try Chopped steak next! Only 3 stars because they don't season eggs grits or hashbrowns but after adding a little salt and pepper it's a good breakfast. Get the greek/ texas toast.”
