“We wandered over to Ositos from Hyde Park, to try something new, and loved it. Ositos has delicious food, and really good cocktails in a cozy, unpretentious atmosphere. The service is warm, attentive, and they make you feel welcome like you’re part of the family. Very gezellig! The coquito was a delicious indulgence (I’ll be dreaming about it tonight); the pumpkin burnt basque cheesecake a delicious indulgence; the mole rosa, guacamole, wings, and the quesaditzin were all excellent.“

I love that the lavender lattes are year-round, absolutely scrumptious pastries, friendly staff, and the environment is comfortable. Earlier this month before heading out, I went to purchase a sweatshirt but they didn’t have any in store in my size. Nick, the owner, went above and beyond offering to meet up beforehand, but I just didn’t have time-so he shipped it. “The restaurant itself has a gorgeous modern trendy feel. Staff was courteous and attentive. And I loved the variations of entrees. It's not your typical mexican restaurant. They put a twist on EVERYTHING. Knowing that everything is made IN HOUSE is a plus for me. Definitely a place I would recommend for a party, family gathering or evening just a meal with friends.
