After enjoying our appetizer we both ordered their three taco dinner special for taco Tuesday. My fiancé order steak tacos and I ordered a combination of chicken tinga, chorizo, and their house special campechano. Everything was amazing!!! My fiancé enjoys the spicier salsas and was offered a habenero red salsa. We sampled all three that was received and have nothing but good things to say about them all. “I came to try the meat loaf stack and my wife the steak sandwich. We thought the food was delicious, and the service was great. We arrived a little before 5 on Friday which was a good time because the restaurant filled up quickly after wards. We’ll definitely be coming back.“

I'm speaking of .SVG TV... no not your regular run of the mill squabbles from all over the globe but a personalized cast of stars that light up the evening sky. Take for example the ale tale of Helen Liz Hunt. It's an October ghost story told at this time in the light of the Hunters Moon. The legend says that Helen walks the .3 mile route from Hunt Ave on a westwards journey. She crosses Helendale Road and arrives at the Squaw Bar in search of dark rye and molasses bread 🍞. Helen pays for her meal in Indian Rupee legal tender and enjoys the Raisins And Honey as the Sultan as played by myself offers her a 🍔 hamburger bear hug.“

“Love this neighborhood bar. I live in the Pistakee Highlands subd. Cash only but very affordable. It has a pool table and dart boards. They also have popcorn for self serve. When I have a night out on the town this is usually where we end up. I've always felt safe being here because all the customers are locals and know one another.“

“Broken Oar is always a great time, especially on a summer Saturday afternoon. The atmosphere is lively, the crowd is fun, and the staff is consistently friendly and attentive.

We came by boat just to grab a few drinks and appetizers. Everything was good, but the churro fries were the standout of the day—absolutely worth ordering and highly recommended.

My only complaint is the docking situation. Getting from the docks to the restaurant requires walking through muddy, sandy terrain, which isn't ideal. More importantly, the docks sit very high above the water, and the exposed metal underneath ended up scratching our boat. If you have a typical recreational boat, I'd honestly think twice about arriving by water, as there's a real risk of cosmetic damage.

Despite that, the food, drinks, service, and overall atmosphere keep us coming back. We'll definitely be back—just probably by car next time.“

“Benjamin Parada and I ate dinner at Wings Etc. tonight! We pulled up to the building and called the number listed clearly on the signs, with an employee's assistance our "take out" order was placed! Ben and I talked in the car just as we would have when we were inside the restaurant. However, sitting in the car and wearing a mask felt so much safer than being in the restaurant! Our food was out to our car very quickly. Wonderful delicious and amazing are words to describe the good wings! Date nights look so different with Covid but this was a super safe and fun date night!“
