Now let's get to the food. Amazing crust on the stuffed pizza with tons of ingredients which tasted fresh and not a slice was left after the whole pizza was devoured by myself and the crew. The baked ravioli with cheese on top was also fantastic! Their garden salad had everything a garden salad should including radishes and the cannolis had a crunchy shell with tasty filling. “These guys have been on my list for a while and it was worth the wait. THIS IS PIZZA. Bridgeport phils still has my heart but this place just bumped into the 2/3 spot for me. TOP 3 Chicago pizzeria.

Crust: this is what did it for me. The crust was a perfect thickness and kept its structure/ crisp throughout the whole pizza

Sauce: they’re cooking down their own sauce I believe. It’s got a touch of that fresh tomato sweetness. Nothing over powering, just a great classic sauce

Sausage/cheese: high quality Battaglia products. Traditional cheese blend and good sausage. Nothing crazy in this category but definitely brings their pizza together

“Took a drive up with my girl to Oh Boy, Worth, IL. Ended up having a piznic at nearnby Swallow Cliffs where she used to go toboggan when she was a kid.
Rookie mistake ordering 2 mediums on 1/2 price Tuesday. (Only applies to family size on up)

“The majority of the staff was excellent, very pleasant, friendly, and seemed genuinely happy to be there. Unfortunately, I seemed to get the one server who was not. He appeared to be resentful about receiving a solo diner. When I asked him about what cider was on the menu, he told me that it was angry orchard, which wasn't on the menu. It only showed Vander Mill Cider, seasonal variations. When I pointed this out and asked what kind, he replied that yes, they had cider. I stared at him and then he asked me if I'd like him to go check and see what kind they had. I told him yes.
Upon his return, he advised that it was their standard hard apple. I then asked him how the gluten-free pizza was. He hadn't had it, but said that people seemed to like it and ordered it. So I ordered a water, the hard cider, and a thin crust gluten free pizza with pepperoni and sausage. He returned with my water, dropped it off, and left without a word. The bartender (or another server), who was very sweet, brought me my cider. The cider was very pleasantly dry and not terribly sweet.
After about half an hour, another sweet lady brought me an AMAZING pizza. It was absolutely incredible, loaded with toppings, and cooked to perfection, leaving the crust crisp and not undergone. I was surprised that it was cut into squares, but that made no difference to me. Side note... the cider was a PERFECT match for pizza.
At about 2 squares in, a HUGE party was seated next to me for my server. It became very noisy and he didn't return until I was halfway thru my meal. He... expressed surprise that I had my food??
I finished my pizza and waited a VERY long time for my check. It was long enough that the table busser came and collected the dishes from my table. When the server returned, I told him that I'd like my check. He brought out a credit machine, told me my total and held out his hand for my card. I had to ask him to SHOW ME my bill!? I then paid and left.
Overall? Great restaurant and food, but the experience was less than stellar. I'll definitely return, but that particular server (James G from my check) won't be waiting on me again.“

“Stopped in on a whim after seeing a pop-up on FB about this amazing five star Tavern. We were pleasantly surprised when we were welcomed as we walked through the door. The atmosphere was inviting and the service top notch! The food was above and beyond what we expected. We had the fish specials, both were deliciously out of this world! “I ordered a medium, thin crust, sausage pizza. The pizza was ready earlier than estimated. The pizza was delicious, hot, and perfectly flavored. The sausage had fennel seeds in it. The sauce was mild and light. The only negative is the size of the pizza. The medium serves 16 square/triangle slices. The medium looks like a small.

The cashier was friendly and courteous. A person in the back, I assume was the owner, was courteous.

Parking: The restaurant is in a small strip mall area, so the lot is shared with other businesses. The main street is busy, but additional parking could be located in the area.“

“So this place has two types of gluten free pizza, I'll admit I only had one. It is delicious!!! The gluten free pizza is an individual one, it looks small, but even when I am starving I have a hard time finishing it. Every time I call for pick up, it's ready when they say. Everyone is always super nice. The atmosphere is clean and bright, but it is literally just for picking up, no dining in. Again since I can't have gluten this is my go to place now.
