Juice Bars & Smoothies near Mettawa

“Absolutely amazing food. Fresh. Had no idea I could find such delicious and healthy food at an oasis. Great flavors. Had the vegetarian plate with hummus, salad, falafel, boba, and grape leaves. Every item was awesome. Wish this restaurant was in my neighborhood!“

“Really good smoothies n flat bread“

“Delicious, fresh, healthy smoothies on a hot day were absolutely perfect. William made our daughter a minion milkshake (and secretly made it healthy without her knowing, which was perfect for our very picky eater), and our son enjoyed a taro boba tea with popping mango boba. Such a great find, and fabulous owner!“

“Anytime I'm working in Waukegan, I stop here. Their entire menu is delicious, their staff is always friendly, and their prices are very reasonable for how much you're given. Absolutely love this place.“

“Incredible food! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!“

“Very good food, we opted to try this place instead of taking the kids to somewhere like mcdonalds and paying almost the same prices. Fries were delicious! The kids meals came with a slider cheeseburger, chicken bites, fries and juice so they got to try a little bit of everything. Staff was very friendly. Highly recommend for a quick bite to eat.“

“This place was great. Easy parking (during a wee day), friendly and patient staff, excellent Ube muffin. (I ate so fast I didn’t take a picture). I got a Malibu smoothie. It was ok, seemed like there was a good bit of ice in it. I also got a Skinny Genes juice. It was WONDERFUL!!! Looks like the company is changing their name to Gimme Cafe as of July 6th 2026 on their website. Updated from previous review on 2026-07-06“

“Got the glow bowl and my daughter got a build your own açaí bowl today. THIS GLOW BOWL IS AMAZING!! The dairy free ranch is so tasty!! It’s perfect!!!! 10/10!!!!“

“I went to The Wicked Egg with my daughter and it was a great experience. Everyone who works there is so friendly, the food was prepared quickly and tasted good. I definitely recommend The Wicked Egg!“

“Definitely Delicious Smoothie on this place . I have Great experience with this cafe.“

“Great grand opening, all staff was awesome, friendly and fast. Congrats on being here!“

“How crazy is this. Going to Sunset Foods I saw this sign in the window of a storefront to the West. Fortunately I found BRIGHT BOWLS owned and operated by a Highland Parker named Lindsay. I can’t describe the ambiance and wonderful products. You need to experience on your own. My favorite so far is the LoveABowl. Enjoy on site or to go. Get Bright Butter, Bright Granola and Bright Smiles. Tell the staff Larry sent you. Hmmmm“

“I love all of your amazing drinks!!!“

“The food genuinely surprised me. It was flavorful and juicy. I had the cowboy with a side of fries. The fries have a perfectly crispy exterior and soft melt in your mouth interior. The seasoning blend used is excellent. I have to say they were the best fries I have had from a restaurant fast food or traditional. I chose this place to celebrate my wife graduating from Navy boot camp in Great lakes. For her first burger, fries, and shake in two months. Thank you for excellent food and atmosphere. The gentleman at the front was very polite and attentive. Also nice muscles bro! The prices are reasonable for what you are getting“

“It was a refreshing splash of fruit for a beautiful afternoon. Filling and juicy it was a great new treat. Staff was very welcoming and informative. Highly recommended for açai bowls as it was the best I’ve ever had!!“

“2Jun2026 2:42p Extremely friendly gentleman , made 4 bahama mama, & chai banana boost smoothies and split the order to smaller cups.

Very efficient & knowledgeable employee.

Highly Recommend if you need something healthy or last minute work lunches.“

“Blown away by this location’s aesthetic and cleanliness! The culture is clearly one that is friendly and welcoming and respected my dietary needs and restrictions! The staff and manager were so patient with my autistic son! 1000000/10 would recommend ❤️❤️“

“They always serve fresh items & is spotlessly clean. The team is friendly, helpful, & impressively fast & efficient. My son didn’t like the icing on his cinnamon roll that was priced @ $3.75, so I asked to exchange it for blueberry muffins priced @ $3.25 & told them to keep the $0.50 difference or keep .50 cents. Even though exchanges aren’t their policy, the staff kindly obliged & gave us blueberry muffins. Great service & thoughtful team!“

“Delicious boba tea! I had the Coconut milk tea with boba and my husband had the mango fruit with boba. This was our first time here! It was busy when we walked in with lines for those wanting to get there bubble / boba tea. There was a great menu of options to choose from and a nice sitting area to relax, and enjoy the drinks. Staff were quick and busy filling in the orders that were coming in. This is located in Chinatown near the Chinatown square. Great spot and delicious boba teas! We will definitely come back when we visit this area again!“

“Everyone is so knowledgeable and helpful. Its my 1 stop for supplements“

“We love coming to the Hometown coffee juice. I have been to I believe every location now.Vlid, gives great service and I especially like the iced oat latte with a combination of different other ingredients. I also taught in Glencoe and enjoy going there The owners Julie and Lou Rubin do a great job!
Poor Richard of the Town Planner of Lake Forest.“

“I stop by the Lake Bluff Tropical Smoothie almost every day, and it’s always a great experience. Bob and Rick consistently greet customers with a smile and make everyone feel welcome. They’re friendly, professional, and clearly take pride in their work. The service is fast, the smoothies are great, and it’s the outstanding customer service from Bob and Rick that keeps me coming back. Highly recommend this location!“

“I love PHO and they do an awesome meal of PHO. I will definitely return!“

“Delightful little juice bar that has wide variety of juices, bowls, and even soups, salads and sandwiches. everything is so tasty. The only warning is that some items are so tasty that you can’t stop thinking about it. We go to the one in Highland Park.“

“Get the Mediterranean bowl with steak, so delicious. Feels healthy and delicious all in one. The guacamole and chips are addictive. I could eat a bowl of just the hummus and guac.“

“Excelente lugar con un menú delicioso 💯 % recomendó“

“I would have preferred more chicken in my honey mustard wrap, but still quite tasty. The ingredients tasted fresh and the dining area was clean.

So, yes, if you're looking for a healthy meal, this is the place to go.“

“muy buena atención, productos de buena calidad , rápidez y se mantiene muy limpio .“

“Brown Sugar Bubble Tea isn’t just about amazing drinks – they also serve delicious food! The grilled chicken is a standout because it’s not fried in oil but cooked on the grill, making it super flavorful and healthier. They offer a variety of flavors to choose from, and everything tastes fresh and well-prepared.
The burgers are fantastic, especially the Sizzler Burger – it’s juicy, packed with flavor, and really satisfying. And the chicken wings? Absolutely 100/10! They’re perfectly cooked, seasoned to perfection, and just irresistible.
If you’re looking for great bubble tea and food in one place, this is the spot to visit. Highly recommend!“

“Tried the Orange Dream Machine at Jamba Juice and it was really good! 🍊
The vanilla flavor adds a nice creamy twist to the citrus, making it super refreshing and smooth. Definitely a great pick if you want something sweet but not too heavy. Service was a bit slow as only one person was working.“

“awesome awesome ice cream“

“4 stars because what I ordered is really good. Don't know about the food or snacks as I only go in for ice cream. It is over priced but idk where else to go to get what I ordered.Service was quick but I asked for my icecream very specific and got the upsell talk all the way through it. Very annoying. It's already expensive and don't like the unnecessary extras.Cost of my ice-cream was 8 something with taxes so 9 dollars.Order what I got, lime icecream, it's sweet and sour not really spice but the slight flavor is there, quite acidic but it's good. Just show them the picture I included,no candy straw, or fresh fruit or vinegar. Or you're looking at $11+ for a medium ice-cream cup.On a hot day or every so often. It's not bad. Use their point reward system you register a phone number and get freebies based on your point accumulation. If you're browsing ask for prices.“

“I didn’t walk into Sweet! Froyo & Candy.
I drifted in. Like a misunderstood soul seeking cold comfort in a world that never asked if I was lactose tolerant.

The neon sign screamed “SWEET!”
But nothing in this life is sweet. Not really.

The froyo machines hummed like they were whispering secrets about my dreams. So many flavors. Too many flavors. Vanilla. Chocolate. Strawberry. Pineapple. Each one a different version of the person I could’ve been if things had just gone so much differently.

I chose cookies & creme boba frappé.

The boba sank to the bottom of the cup like my trust issues.
I stabbed at them with the spoon and it felt good.

It was creamy.
Too creamy.
Like it understood me.

The toppings bar glittered under fluorescent lighting — gummy bears smiling like they’ve never known heartbreak. Sprinkles scattered like optimism.

Will return when the night feels heavy again. 🖤🍦“

“Well, this is one of my favorites, I know many but this is the one I like the most.

1.- You can order online and you can pick up
2.- you sign up I know their rewards and you can have free ice cream.

They have an impressive variety of ice creams and popsicles, when you enter you will crave everything….

The last time I ordered some dorillocos... I'm a little harsh with the rating and I give them a 3, they could include lemon, cucumber and more cueritos, they almost didn't have them.

The ice creams pffff are a delight just like the horchata water.

Parking: Well, it's not very big but cars come and go constantly, which means you won't wait more than 3 minutes to find your box.

Kid-friendliness: Nothing dangerous and a place that will surely fascinate you.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp so they can access“
