“Wednesday October 19, 2022 S2 City Grill & Daquiri Bar It was my fifth time there and my third time dinning in. My Server was Tookie, her customer service was excellent and on point. Mz Tookie's was very knowledgeable about the menu & the policy's of the restaurant. They get 4 stars for the atmosphere. They 4 stars for the customer service and they get 4 stars for the Food. I want to thank Mz Sue, Mz B, Mz Yea and especially Mz Tookie for making my dinning experience on the south side spectacular.“

“I don't even know where to begin. The service is always above and beyond awesome (♡ Ruby and Dahlia)! This is a family owned business (and owner and family are always there working their butts off and checking to see everyone is happy) and it is obvious that they take pride in what they serve and they really appreciate their customers. I have ordered many different dishes from the menu and everything is always delicious and hot and cooked exactly as I ordered. The margaritas are top notch. My absolute favorite is the cucumber magarita. Make sure to try their tableside guac...so good!!! Carne Asada is excellent. I hesitate to share this review because I'd love to keep this hidden gem all to myself but some things just need to be shared with the world. You're welcome!!!“

For an Italian restaurant, we were surprised by the outstanding BBQ Ribs and Pot Roast specials - Sells out early, so we show up on Sundays before five to ensure get a slab before they sell out! We’ve been enjoying LDV for almost twenty years and did not know what were missing or the possibilities. Under Joe’s ownership/management and his vision it’s been transformational experience. I would recommend stopping over for one of the specials and taking a minute to introduce yourself to Joe.“

“Love the atmosphere, the food and drinks...always awesome, however I recently find the professionalism of the staff to be lacking and what's with the dress code or should I say lack there of? Its not a sports bar...a bartender dressed in a Hawaiian Shirt with pineapples says I'm on the beach with Tome Cruise in the movie "Cocktail". Not what people expect to see in Balagios.“

“The vibes were really great! The dj was awesome they played a great mix of music that night (Friday). Everybody was having a good time, people were dancing and enjoying themselves. I ordered the tenders dipped in a honey garlic sauce, the smoke burger, and key lime pie. Everything was good, the tenders were juicy and nice sizes, the meat on the burger was seasoned and had great flavor. The key lime pie though! It came with a cherry like reduction (sauce) with walnuts, I wasn't expecting it to taste that good. I ate the whole thing before I tried the food 🤷🏾‍♀️ I'll be back.“
