“Great experience from the moment you walk on the door. The staff is very welcoming. The bar is a great place to start or even enjoy a meal. The main dinning area is expansive which can add a bit of noise but didn't hold back our conversation.
The food menu is delightful and offers enough choice. The starters are shareable and the bread is fantastic. Personal I had the American Wagyu and mushrooms - classic and outstanding.

“I brought my mom here for her 85th birthday. The staff were so kind, friendly and knowledgeable. The drinks were delicious, the atmosphere was great, and the bartender was awesome. They all were also very helpful and accommodating with my mom, as she is in a wheelchair. She was so happy when we left and said it was great way to celebrate her birthday.“

“We finally got to check this place out. Located next to Mon Ami Gabi, you enter through the magnificent lobby. Inside is decorated sparsely but with warmth. We sat near the window for brunch and it was not at all busy at Saturday 10am. It’s probably not the first pick for brunch since their menu is not heavily focused on egg dishes (but they featured baked goods trays which I promised myself to try when I bring a larger family here). They relocated to this new space last fall but I had not really noticed from outside in my walks. The menu is very Asian-fusion and food was high quality and creative. I preferred theirs to North Pond actually. Theirs have more flavor overall. We ordered Maine Lobster Dumplings, Warm Mushroom Salad (this was a hit. I’m going to try to recreate the roasted mushroom at home) and truffle croquettes, pork noodle served in Korean earthen pot and salmon tartine. The first two dishes are really memorable flavors. They were generous with Mimosa and J enjoyed Mezcal shots each with pickle brine and watermelon. Think dirty martini but with more zing! which I appreciated. We want to come back for their happy hour and try other dishes. So glad to find this gem today. Service was prompt and with smiles.“

“My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this bar after going on a food tour of the area. I insisted we go in because of the fun lights, and am so glad we did!!! We had an incredible time, mainly because of our bartenders—Tabby and Jayden. They both made stellar cocktails, were super personable and completely made our experience. Tabby is a riot and Jayden was lovely. We had way more drinks than we normally would because we were having so much fun! Will 100% come back next time we’re in Chicago.“

Sin embargo, en mi última visita, experimenté una situación que considero importante señalar para su atención y mejora. El día de hoy, martes 26 de noviembre, llegué a cenar a las 8:45 pm confiando en la información publicada en sus redes sociales, donde claramente se especifica que el horario de cierre es a las 11:00 pm. No obstante, a las 9:30 pm ya se estaba anunciando el "último llamado" para bebidas alcohólicas. Además, durante mi estancia, fui testigo de cómo dos familias fueron rechazadas para cenar por el mismo motivo: el restaurante estaba cerrando antes de tiempo debido a "la falta de clientes". Entiendo que puedan surgir situaciones operativas, pero considero que este tipo de decisiones impacta negativamente en la experiencia de sus clientes. Cuando se anuncia un horario de cierre, los clientes planeamos nuestras visitas en base a esa información. De no ser posible mantener el horario anunciado, sería más transparente ajustarlo oficialmente en sus plataformas para que las personas puedan planear con anticipación y, en caso necesario, optar por otras opciones. Por último, quiero mencionar que esta inconformidad fue compartida con nuestra mesera, quien nos escuchó con amabilidad. Sin embargo, creo que esta situación requiere un ajuste desde la gerencia para evitar malentendidos en el futuro. “I've visited Osito's Tap a handful of time, but now I definitely need to be a regular. I was here last night for their Preservation bourbon tasting. It was an enjoyable evening learning and tasting some great bourbon, plus a nice dinner menu created by Osito's Tap very own Executive Chef. I've missed out on similar tastings here before, so I was happy to make this one.

As for the bar itself, it's a speakeasy with a giant Mezcal menu. If you're looking for great cocktails, an easy going spot, and good company. Then this is a place to be at. Definitely a GEM in the Little Village neighborhood.“

“Another excellent restaurant in Pilsen! The tuna tostada probably won best dish, but the octopus Sonoran dog won most interesting bite and something you won't find anywhere else. Our kids loved the plantain tacos so much that we got two orders of them and they ate them all before I would even have one! It is a bit pricy as the sizes are small, but I would say that all of the food was worth it.“
