We had never been before, but since she loves sunsets, we made it happen—and we’re so glad we did. We had a party of 25, and the staff handled everything wonderfully. The waitresses were so friendly, attentive, and made sure our large group was well taken care of. The food was absolutely delicious—the flatbreads were 💯! “We had a party of eight and needed a place to eat on a Friday night. This place accommodated us, even though they were very busy. Really good food and the service was friendly and fast, esp considering how busy they were. A little loud, but it’s a bar and there was a Blues game on, so you kind of have to expect that. Our party had multiple different kinds of food, from some German dishes, to typical American faire, and all were happy with the quality. And the prices are very, very reasonable.“

Haven't bought food from here but their drinks pretty good and affordable.
The ambience is nice, relatively spacey outdoors, kinda tight indoors, seats and tables outside* available. Friends have hosted parties* here before and it went well both times. The place gets loud from people's voices when you're outside, live music often playing indoor.
Bartenders pretty nice. They have bathrooms on lower floor and upper floor.
They have a pet turtle you often see hanging out in the water 🐢“

“We went on Tacos and Tequila day in Soulard. A lot of the places in the area are historic....so they're kind of small but they maintain the building well. A lot of bar seating and high table seating... large collection of drinks and I think the run specials too. When it's nice outside they also have patio seating.“

“Yaqui's is a great little dive bar and has real music playing all the time. Hadn't been here before, but glad to see two of my favorite performers, Rob & Amy! I ordered the St Louis Classic Specialty Pizza, topped with pork steak and Red Hot Riplets. Dee-Lish!😋 I'll have plenty of lunch leftovers! Also got a delicious Jazzberry drink to chase down the pizza! Love the atmosphere and people who work there! I recommend trying out Yaqui's!“
