“I had the deep fried dragon roll, my husband has the Kung Pao chicken, and we also ordered the chicken and broccoli for my son.

He said this is the best Kung Pao chicken he's ever had and that's usually all he ever orders when it's offered. The wasabi for my roll is some of the best and most evenly flavored and has a kick! This is our new favorite place to go. Prices are fair and service is excellent and complimented by a beautiful environment.

Just one question, what does the table say? We had fun trying to figure out what it said. I'll have to go back to confirm! ?

Parking: Plenty of handicapped parking.

Kid-friendliness: It's not a play place but the snap peas keep the kids entertained!“

From the sushi to the entree’s, sides, incredible miso soup, and smoothies, Runa Izakaya wins my heart and my stomach over every time! “Great service on Christmas Day! We had a prebooked hibachi reservation for 630 and a large party of 10. We were seating fairly quickly after our entire party arrived and greeted quickly by staff. Our food and appetizers were quick to be served and they were very attentive. Our hibachi cook was super entertaining and made our night! We will definitely be back as a family again.“

“Everything was good but not great. There's a lot of different hibachi places within driving distance & this was not a favorite. Our cook was nice & friendly but he was easily distracted and overcooked a lot of the food. When we were so eating our ice cream, 2 workers came over to start cleaning & dumped a bunch of chemicals on the flat top which created a bunch of steam/smoke - it was awful!! They could have waited 5 minutes while we finished - it wasn't even closing time & there was no one waiting to eat, so I didn't understand the rush! I don't see myself coming back, there's so many great options near by!“

“Food was great- ordered a few combos and they were wonderful. Drink menu was fab and the bartender and server deserve some extra credit. Our table was the furthest from the bar and we ordered 2 rounds of martinis. They filled those martinis to the top- and I mean the top. The server walked all the way from the bar (slowly) and did not spill a single drop. We were more than impressed! Love a full martini glass!“

“Unassuming exterior will make you think it’s not a top tier sushi spot but oh you would be wrong! I order here every time I’m in Alsip and it is consistently fresh and delicious! It’s the only place I’ve found that has low carb options that are not just sashimi too. My go to are the Yellowtail Jalapeño appetizer and the Rainbow Naruto roll with a seaweed salad. Love this place!“

“My daughter and I are here now and the food is amazing. I about fell over on the portion size! Alot of food! We'll have leftovers for a couple days! Our waiter was funny and now I know why he kept asking us if we were sure that we both wanted chicken fried rice! The bowls are huge! GREAT FOOD AND GREAT PRICES!
