“Stayed in the QC last night, up from Florida, and drove by this place late evening.... Decided to stop in and give it a try .... It was WONDERFUL!! .... I arrived and the place was PACKED!! .... Only a short wait to be seated ... The staff work as a great team helping each other out ... Food was brought pretty quickly considering how busy they were .... Got the farmers omelet and pancakes in place of the toast ... Look at those pancakes ... Light, fluffy, and the syrup was even warm .... The omelet was equally good ... I suggest y'all give them a try yourselves.“

“Food was decent & generous portions. My wife enjoyed her enchiladas more than I did the omelette. Nothing wrong with the omelette, but doesn’t do well as a carry out. We will try other items. Unfortunately they close at 2PM. A breakfast/lunch place.“

“It is a good sized dining area. Basic tables. Comfortable to eat. I thought the food was "VERY GOOD". I had the three taco dinner. Two steak, one chicken. With sides of rice and beans. Server Julian did a great job in providing hreat service!! I was in outside sales all of my life and have eaten at many restaurants. .This restaurant overall I feel you should give a try if you haven't been here.

“What's not to love about a hibachi grill? Staff provides a great family atmosphere. They're very friendly and gracious for your business. You get large portions. Most of the food is awesome. I say most because I haven't tried it all. There are so many options, and the best part is that this place is kid friendly. However, they create a show with fire, and you can feel the heat. If you're sensitive, you may want to avoid it. Now, the bad. The restaurant is in desperate need of renovations or upgrades. It looks a bit rundown in some areas, including the entrance. It's pretty much laid out like it was as a Chinese restaurant when I was a kid 30 years ago. The sake is ok, tastes a little watered down. There's a lot to love here, but first impressions go a long way. Keep going in, you'll find the diamond in the rough around the hibachi grills.

“We were seated very quickly and the waitress came out in about 5 minutes, took our drink order, brought it in about 10 but NEVER seen her again. Finally after 30 minutes of waiting we asked for a new server. They moved us to a new server and he was fantastic (wish I could remember his name). The sad part is the waitress didn’t have many tables and just kept disappearing. Anyways, she lost out on a $65 dollar tip. My husband had the meatloaf and said it was horrible!!! And he eats anything! River House has gone downhill since we were last there about year and half ago. No wonder they weren’t that busy last night and we got seated immediately“

“Very nice, friendly staff and service. Young lady explained the brief confusion on my phone order. Very clear restaurant inside and out, parking easy w/o potholes. Fried Rice was very good, not gummy or lumpy, the beef was delicious w/plenty of of onions. Ohhhh Yeah I'll be back!?????
