“I recently was visiting Chicago and as a habit, I searched for Best Gluten Free bakery and discovered Defloured. What an amazing place. As a Celiac, finding good GF baked goods is rare to find. Wow what a selection. I purchased a chocolate cupcake, two love pucks, cinnamon rolls, poppy lemon bread, baguette, and aNutella sandwich cookie. Everything was really delicious. I mean world class quality. I now plan on making regular visits to Chicago so I can load up and fill my freezer with possibly the best GF baked goods in the U.S. I’ve tried a lot.“

“This place is a gem! From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by how kind and knowledgeable the staff was. The girl who helped me was so sweet, super patient, and explained everything perfectly. You can really tell they care about the customer experience and make sure you feel comfortable and taken care of. Now let’s talk about the lemonades—WOW. Infused and delicious, it was honestly one of the best lemonades I’ve ever had. And the baked goods? Incredible. Soft, flavorful, and just the right amount of kick. “This is not technically a review of their baked goods, which are undeniably amazing and baked with love as you’ll see in this story. Jennivee's Bakery , LLC’s AMAZING staff saved my dogs life!! This past Friday, one of the owners, Andres, the bakery staff, and an amazing group of dedicated bystanders rescued my dog, Mo, who had run off in Oz Park and was missing and in danger for hours prior to his rescue. After seeing Mo dart into traffic multiple times, this amazing group of strangers was able to corner him, and Andres bravely was able to grab him. He and the team at Jennivee’s then sheltered him and calmed him as long as it took and were ultimately able to bring him to Bond Vet who scanned his microchip and got in touch with me. My dogs are basically my kids. I pour allllll of my love into them. I still can’t believe how lucky we got and how close of a call this was. We’re shaken but relieved and endlessly grateful to Andres and everyone at Jennivee’s!!! Run don’t walk to get yourself some amazing treats and support this incredible business and the people in it!!!!“

“L&W has been a GIFT to the neighborhood! We worked with their team to have a small cake made for our daughter's first birthday and it was not only delicious, but they were very intentional with the questions they asked for the baking process. The staff is friendly, inclusive and passionate. Not to mention, their coffee and food is so, so tasty. One of the best everything bagels I've had in a minute and who doesn't love a Skully boi. SUCH a vibe.“

“This place is the bomb! I just ordered my third cake from the Sugar Daddy for a friend's birthday and once again, they exceeded expectations. This cake was vegan so I was a little unsure how it would taste, but it was absolutely decadent and delicious. It was a showstopper at the party making it feel extra special, and was a huge hit with everyone in attendance. The Sugar Daddy team are really talented and put a lot of care into their work. I'm a retired baker so I can be a tough critic, but I'm telling you the tart especially was very tasty and fresh and the shortbread base was sooo delicious! This is my new go-to bakery when I want to treat myself :) Also! The shop owner was very friendly. Great selection of bakery items, lots of seating, and many fun items in there for sale including cook books, greeting cards, and home goods.“

“We worked with Sweet Temptations to create our dream wedding cake and WOW is this team impressive. Looking back at our wedding photos, it is truly impossible to tell the difference between the inspiration photo sent and the cake delivered to our venue. It was GORGEOUS! In addition, the flavor was out of this world. They even sent a custom box to package our top tier for easy transportation after the reception. “DeliPan on Harlem and Schubert THIS IS THE BEST BREAD IVE EVER HAD! They got a new customer, my kids and my wife were so happy! And señora Martha was really nice and helpful. I had never tasted the Guatemalan bread and now it’s probably one of my favorite! 100/100 recommend. Also they’re taking a lot of extra precautions during all of this.
