“Ohhh sweet summer flavors and memories are found at Xurro! They have a great menu of many ways to get your sugar fix from sundaes to smoothies and seasonal flavors too. You can even get a variety of flavors in your ice cream base, vanilla or strawberry or Superman! It being my first time I decided on a classic sundae with churros and I was pleasantly surprised. The churros are crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside and have the perfect dusting of sugar. It was gone before I made it home! A little on the higher side for price but it’s fair for all that you get.“

“The manager was visiting from the Gold Coast location, he was amazingly friendly and just genuinely loves his job. The other staff were awesome as well. And of course.... The cookies were AMAZING. They said they didn’t have any chocolate chip cookies. So I called the one off Touhy Ave in Niles and the fellow named Cesar was super friendly and helpful and said they’d honor it. So I drove there and they did! At the store, Cesar was super friendly and the other fellow working there too. So nice compared to the employees at the Crumbl near me in Skokie. I avoid that location at all costs! They (Skokie location) have no customer service skills and would benefit from some training in customer service. Could learn a thing or two from Cesar and his coworker.“

I got some bread for día de los Muertos ? and the turtle concha ? was so cute my kid didn't want to eat. The place is clean and very nice decorated. Street parking. “A friend from work told me about Insomnia Cookies in Melrose Park and I finally had a chance to stop in and pick some up to go. I’m really glad I did. The cookies were warm right out of the box and you could tell they were freshly made. Every single one was soft, gooey, and full of flavor. The chocolate chip was rich and melty, and even the sprinkle cookie had a great texture and taste.

What stood out the most was how consistent everything was. Nothing tasted dry or overbaked. It felt like you were getting cookies straight from the oven at home, just better. The variety they offer is also a big plus because there is something for everyone.

I can see why so many people recommend this place. It’s perfect for a quick treat or when you just want something sweet that actually hits the spot. I will definitely be coming back again.“

The person behind the counter was extremely helpful, it was a little busy being labor day weekend but he had everyone in and out in a timely manner.
