“Excellent cut above breakfast/brunch located in the heart of Mt. Prospect. Indoor and outdoor seating. Very good parking around rear of the building. Indoor noise level is happy without being overbearing.
The menu is extensive with plenty of sweet and savory choices.
The crepes and French toast with fresh fruit are good choices.
I'm always looking for a special country fried steak. Found it here. Nice piece of beef, no gristle etc , with excellent tasty super crisp breading. Country gravy had the perfect amount of bite, however I added a little crushed pepper to taste. Eggs, hash browns, and sourdough toast to boot.
Topped off with a mimosa and LaVazza coffee for a perfect Sunday breakfast.“

“I have been in this restaurant for more than 4 times. I highly recommend it. There are a lot of parking. Once you come in; you are greeted with a warm greeting and and enthusiastic smule by the host or owner. The servers are very accommodating , friendly and helpful. They check on their customers for whatever they need until your meal is done. The busboys are hardworking and any requests will be granted right away. The food/dishes are cooked just the way you requests. Their steaks and eggs are up to par. The prices are decently priced. For what they serve you, good amounts of food. Well worth it. Freshness and presentations of foods are stupendous! Never did I have any complaints the way the place is ran. Very clean. Wide open. Eventhough i live far. I kept going back and i know when i leave, my tummy is full, content and some take home left overs. Check their menu. Check the big breakfast meal. You can't go wrong with their reasonable prices. Sandy’s Cafe in Illinois absolutely knocked it out of the park.

As someone who waited tables for 25 years, I do not hand out praise lightly. I notice everything. Timing. Flow. Energy. Detail. And Darcy? She was beyond exceptional. Truly above and beyond in every way.

From the moment we sat down, Darcy brought warmth, attentiveness, and that effortless professionalism you only see from someone who genuinely cares. She anticipated needs before we even had to ask. The pacing was perfect. The vibe was welcoming without ever feeling rushed. It was flawless service.

And the food? Incredible. I had the blueberry pancakes and the corned beef hash and both were outstanding. The pancakes were perfectly fluffy with that just right golden finish, and the hash was savory, comforting, and cooked to perfection. Every bite felt like someone in the kitchen really knows what they’re doing.

But what set this apart from a great breakfast to an unforgettable experience was Darcy. She made us feel special. Seen. Taken care of. That kind of hospitality is rare and it matters. She even pulled out a special little gift for basket for toddlers/kids! My bestie has an 18month old granddaughter and this was a game changer! 😊

I've been to several locations but nothing like this the dutch baby was perfect and the apple pancake reminded me of the one my mom used to make. very eclectic clean interior with extraordinarily caring and attempting staff memembers. highly recommend this location for the food service and atmosphere. it's not often I'm blown away but the dutch baby is a difficult thing do well in a resturaunt environment with a rush etc and they did a truly stand out job.“

“I have to say I like IHOP the all American diner. To me the food is always fresh. The coffee! And I’ve never had bad service. The Rosemont location is always busy. Everyone always very friendly.
