We've not been there since 2017 due to relocation but have nothing but fond memories of Dover Straits. When we bought our house in Grayslake in 1995, our realtor took us there to celebrate. We continued going, mainly for birthdays, anniversaries or impress out of towners, and were never disappointed. We are out of towners that were in the area for a family event tomorrow, but tonight we were just looking for a seafood restaurant for dinner. We were actually headed to a different restaurant when we passed Dover Straits on Highway 45, when we did a U-turn and headed back into their parking lot. We were so glad we did!
