“Very nice and clean dinner. The cheeseburgers were great, exactly the type I was craving. The loaded bake potato was covered in cheese sauce, which, although it looks and sounds great, I would prefer just some shredded cheddar. That would be the only knock against this place. The wait staff was friendly and fantastic. This is definitely going to be our go to on the way back from Shawnee from now on.“
“I saw on FB that this place opened recently, and decided to check it out after a day of hiking at Panther's Den. As a former resident of CA, I love boba. I'll start with the good: the tea and the service. I got the brown sugar milk tea with tapioca balls. One-third sweetness. It was nicely executed -- though, IMO, the boba was slightly overdone/too soft. I also met the owner, who was super nice and talkative. That said, I do have suggestions for improvement. First, gotta get classic milk tea as an option. Brown sugar is the closest, but there's nothing like the more traditional flavor. Second, a website with address and hours would be helpful. It was very hard to find Koala Tea online, and impossible to find it on Apple Maps.“
“This place has been on our radar for a year and I am so happy we were able to come in and try Faye finally! We’re from out of town closer to Chicago and this place has such a city feel while still being comfy, cozy cute. The food was delicious- my husband got the biscuit breakfast sandwich and I had the pastrami hash and both were beyond fantastic. We’re both black coffee drinkers and enjoyed our morning Joe, but if you’re more into lattes they had more than enough fun options to choose from! Overall, such a fantastic experience and a new “regular” spot added to our list when we visit every year!“
“Found this great breakfast cafe Monday morning after a terrible nights sleep at nearby hotel due to loud trains and trucks running all night. We needed a good breakfast but we slept in a bit late and just missed the hotel breakfast buffet that closed at 9! Then discovered that all the other nearby breakfast joints were closed on Mondays! Almost gave up on a decent breakfast and stumbled on Harbaugh’s a very unassuming looking place from the outside in a dead retail zone on a Monday morning. What a great find! “I go to common grounds pretty frequently and I always get the iced buttercream latte. It’s so good and i’ve never had anything quite like it anywhere else. I always try the seasonal flavors too and today I got the iced eggnog latte. This is the best latte that I have had in my entire life! I will be dreaming about it later and will be back for more! The staff is also always super kind and helpful!“
“I'm the kind of person that has a million questions and I don't know exactly what I want when I pull up. They're always very helpful, including being helpful in getting the whole order process completed quickly because it's drive through, ssssooo let's hurry up. Amazing staff, awesome drinks. “I love this coffee shop. It is in SIU's Morris Library and has hours specific to when the library is open. It is usually closed when the students are off for breaks, too. They have a punch card, so the more drinks you buy, you get one free eventually. The coffee is good, staff is very friendly and they will do special requests. Sometimes you get $1 coffee in late afternoon, which is awesome.“
“Stopped here first before a day of hiking. Had a amazing Thai Chai Latte with added vanilla and sweetness (chai is not the presweetened kind. So good! Friends ordered just standard brew, cold brew and Italian cream soda (cold and delicious). Everything was on point and barista was informative and friendly. A great place to meet friends the storefront has great hang out vibes.“
