“It's my go to for breakfast when I'm in a rush and I'm on my way to work. The food is always fresh and hot and my sweet tea or coffee is always spot on. The service is always fast and friendly. You don't get that at a lot of McDonald's. I can even stop by on my way home from work and it's always the same great, fast and friendly service.“

“Love the drinks..The Baristas are extremely helpful with finding something youd typically like (& need?) Its has its convenience being inside another store; but there's not a lot of space..The 'cafe type's questions don't really apply but it's still a great place!“

“I'm not sure what all the low reviews are about. Everytime I come there I have a wonderful experience. Every worker has been extremely nice to us. The drinks are fantastic. They always make it taste so yummy. The doughnuts are fresh as well! I've reviewed Carbondale where it wasn't good. I prefer to go to the Marions!“

“Old chicken and if you want just suger in your coffee put it in yourself they only know how to use creamer. I normally wouldn't post a bad comment but this place is horrible many times have I gotten the wrong order and no sugar in my coffee with creamer when you order it with just sugar...“

“I just wanted to take a moment to recognize Madelene (I believe that’s her name). She was so kind and welcoming, and I really appreciated her kindness. She called my name when she placed my drink at the counter, which I appreciated, and later she had an extra latte she had made that was going to be thrown out and kindly offered it to me. I had to decline because I’d already had enough caffeine for the day, but I really appreciated her thinking to offer it to me anyway. After a long day at work, that kind of kindness really meant something to me. Thank you, Madelene!“

“Of all the McDonald's I've been to, and that's a lot at 62, this location is my favorite. My food is hot, served quickly, or asked to pull forward but not for long. If you don't want to have a wait, I wouldn't go there on the weekends. They are busy and you might have to wait.“

“Actually make the food fresh when asked especially when we spend 46.34 on food. The cost is way too high. The service is terrible. The managers are argumentative. No accountability. My family will not go back after tonight. Worst service ever“

“My husband and I came through the Herrin Starbucks on our way from my grandmothers funeral, yesterday (7/26/26). We were upset and frazzled the entire time we were ordering. An employee, Jeffrey, was absolutely exceptional, patient, kind, and helped walk us through each step in the ordering process. I am sure we made it extremely difficult for him just to take our order, but he was so understanding. He helped to make a terrible day just a little better, and expected nothing in return. If this is how Jeffrey treated us at our worst, I am positive he is unstoppable to people at their best. Thank you, Jeffrey, for shining some light on our dark day.
