The food was delicious - huge portions, the specials include soup and salad and the amazing service from Paulette was absolutely wonderful. I had the ribs - yummy and they fall off the bone. Not only did they take care of it right away with genuine apologies, but they continuously checked in with us while the replacement was being prepared so we never felt like we were waiting and wondering. “First time here, and it was fantastic. While waiting for my dining partner to arrive, the place was mobbed in minutes (6 pm on a Friday), but the 2 counter staff and the kitchen staff never stopped moving. We got our meals fairly quickly, considering the rush. The best thing? The food was great! Perfect seasoning on the fries, the tenders are HUGE (like 2 and a half combined into one monster piece).

I got the Tender / Mini / Fries combo, and my wife got the Mac combo.

The spices are perfectly balanced - I had mild and medium on my chicken, my partner had mild on hers. She has a much more timid palate, and she was good. If you get mild on the Mac combo, make sure the sauce on the Mac matches the chicken sauce - otherwise, that's *a spicy*.

I can not compliment the counter staff enough - they were moving so fast. I told the one she should try out for the Chicago Bears; she did a supply run in 10 seconds flat! Even the customer next to me agreed! =)

From the moment I walked in, the energy was great. The staff was super friendly, patient, and actually seemed like they enjoyed being there, which already set the tone. But the real star? The food.

I ordered the hot chicken tenders with fries, and wow. The chicken was insanely crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. The spice level was perfect—just enough heat to keep things exciting without overpowering the taste. And those fries? Seasoned to perfection.

Everything came out fresh and fast, and you can tell they really care about quality. Plus, the portions were generous—I definitely didn’t leave hungry.

“While in town, a friend suggested to meet at La Crepe Bistro for lunch. When we arrived, there was no parking which indicated that it is quite the spot! After circling the parking lot for 5-10 minutes we were finally able to snag a spot! We were asked if we had a reservation (we did not) and the server said they only take reservations that day but we’re able to fit us in which was great.

We were able to get a cute table for the three of us and were promptly greeted by the server. I really don’t know if she even told us her name, but she was okay. Not very friendly but their dresses and hair were stunning! Really fits the vibe of the bistro theme so that was fun.

The menu is incredible and has a wide variety of options. There is definitely something for everyone. I ordered the croissant sandwich that came with a choice of ham, Canadian bacon, or bacon. Opted for the bacon. It was absolutely delicious. Skip the mustard on the sandwich though, it was a little too much. Fries and fruit were great! Before I even had the chance to ask, the berry crepe was already devoured so I think you can assume it was amazing! The burger was also good I was told. Everything was fresh and the presentation was very cute.

Once we were done, we stayed for a bit to catch up and chit chat but we were getting the impression the servers wanted us to leave as they almost immediately dropped off the check and were hovering around the table. Finally, we decided to leave because the looks just got uncomfortable and as we were putting on our coats to leave they were already clearing the rest of the table rolling their eyes. Kind of disappointing considering it wasn’t like people were waiting for a table or anything.

Overall, atmosphere and food was fantastic!!! We will definitely be back but will take our time eating so that we don’t get the boot or ugly stares by the servers.“

Anyway . the menu is diverse. Plenty of caffeinated options with dietary restrictions, which is nice because I’m cutting weight.

I had an iced mocha , and cinnamon bagel. Both tasted great, even though I asked for them to be as plain as a vanilla iPhone.

Didn’t really pursue the book selection, but it seemed adequately balanced between non fiction and romance novels. I haven’t tried any of the cocktails , but they seem unique.

The chairs could be more sturdy , but I don’t think they’re designed for power lifters. I don’t remember if there was music because I was on a business call. 🗿“

“I have had some good pizza in my day, but nothing like Pizza Boys. The best way I could describe it is like a combination of New Haven and Detroit styles. It is a bit pricey at $34 a slice, but definitely worth it. If the Michelin guide came to the suburbs, Pizza Boys would definitely have a star. You have to call for reservations, which seems silly for 2023, but just do it.“

Even with a store full of customers and online orders, waiting to be fulfilled, he went above and beyond in his duties to take orders and prepare food in a timely order. When the boy handed me my food he told me to have a great day and to enjoy sadly i wasn’t able to get his name and i couldn’t give him a tip. My box combo was perfectly cooked — crispy chicken, hot fries, and the toast was on point. The Cane’s Sauce tasted exactly how it should: creamy, tangy, and fresh. You can tell the team here pays attention to quality.

“First, if you've never had a Dairy Queen burger, you're missing out.
Cashier was friendly. I'd ordered a cake earlier in the week. It was ready and correct. Hadn't had lunch, so I ordered burger, rings and a drink.
My first heads up was the guy standing to the side. When I asked him if he was in line he said no. Waiting on my order. Then a group of 5 came in, followed by a group of 3. Everyone ordered ice cream. It looked like the crew was confused? Not coordinated at all. That took forever to get the ice cream people handled. Another couple came in, stood in front of the cashier for about 3-4 minutes. Never acknowledged, so they walked out. After 20 minutes (I checked the time stamp on my receipt) I asked if they forgot about me. Cashier starts throwing the grill operator under the bus instead of taking care of it. Got my burger, rings, had to go back for my drink.
All I can think of is, PLEASE, get some professional training in there! You're spilling business.

“McDonald’s Restaurants have sure changed since I was little and this one is soo chill. It is the classiest in this part of the Chicago Southland in my opinion. Don’t be surprised if you tend to run into some white collar professionals at this one. And it’s a great McDonald’s to see every generation hangout—sweet senior citizens handing out & grandparents taking their grandkids for lunch. Kind crew, clean & modern interior, and well organized too. I like how there isn’t a drink station, and that you need to get napkins & other utensils directly from the front counter. It makes sense when you think about it: less messes, less waste, more seating space & less stress for us parents. ☺️“
