They had great music playing that made you sway and sing along and not even know you were doing it. The staff were friendly, courteous, attentive and efficient. We didn't have to stalk our waitress for drink refills which is always a bonus. I will definitely be back.“

“We have been going there for over a year on the first Friday of every month to see the free live music! It is always a great time and family friendly. The kids really get into the music. The band is excellent, providing music of all genres. If they have live music every Friday, we would be there every Friday! The staff is great and the food above average! See you the first Friday of every month!“

“I was in Chicago for one night to help move my son to Dallas. He lived a modest walk from Mac's, so we headed there for dinner. I ordered a burger (the name escapes me) that had a beef patty, bacon, pickles, lettuce and tomato, a grilled jalapeño and a habanero sauce. The waiter told me it was really hot. I replied with confidence that I was from San Antonio and was used to spicy food. So he asked how I would like the meat cooked and left to place our order. The burger was great, BUT it was also VERY hot. Wow! I was in fire! So be careful what you ask for, because at Mac's you'll get it! My son had a regular, less adventurous burger.

We enjoyed a cool evening outside with our food and a couple of brews. The wait staff was excellent.“

“I heard about this Soccer Themed Sports Bar in the City and I knew I had to stop by and see what all the hype is about!

The food was very affordable because they offer nice deals on food and drinks - Pizza and the wings were great!

The customer service was attentive and friendly.

“We’ve been there before but it seemed a waste of a nice neighborhood bar. The past few times there were hardly anyone in there and I always thought it was a shame that a neighborhood bar with lots of potential was empty however, today there was a few more people than normal and the bartender Jennifer was greeting everyone and making everyone feel welcome. We stopped in for the Bears game and they had pizza for customers which was definitely a plus because we didn’t eat beforehand and it allowed us to stay and watch the game rather than going somewhere else to eat. If it keeps up, we may continue to go there to watch the games!“

“We went in after a miserable day. We were weary and super hungry. The Pony was just the right medicine. Big kudos to our bartender who took great care of us. I had two Anti Heroes-there was a sheen of ice on the top of the beer which is just exactly how beer should be served. Our waffle fries nachos plate was huge. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and tater tots which was equally delicious. We went in around 5pm which is why I gave only four stars for atmosphere there weren't many people around. Thanks for supplying great service, tasty food and cold beer it really changed the day for us“

“Great corner bar for Iowa and any other games you could want to watch. It's owner operated so you know he takes pride in the place and watches over it. Can get a little packed on game days, so get there early to secure a spot.

“I remember reading in the paper some time ago about a new chicken place that was opening up, but I had forgotten about it. I was looking for a new place to try in the neighborhood and blazin b's came up. Me and my girlfriend went to try the chicken sandwiches and they were phenomenal! I got the fried j*** chicken sandwich, and she got the fried blazin chicken sandwich, both served with potato wedges (pure awesomeness). Let's not forget the side of mac and cheese which was a great addition coupled with some great beers from the Trinity. “Nice place close to the UC but don’t be deceived by the “smash burger” on their menu. First off…nowhere near a smash burger. Party was thick and had zero sear to it. Honestly it looked unappetizing. Also the meat had zero seasoning. It tasted just like you were eating playing ground beef. Even with all the toppings on it. And before anyone asks, it was not busy yet. Started getting busy after we receive our food. 3 in our party got the same thing and they all agreed…possibly one of the worst burgers we ever ordered. Others in our party ordered other things and they said they were good. But if I was asked to smash or pass on the smash burger it’s a hard pass.“

“I like Whiskey Girl! We can watch the WNBA and Unrivaled there with the sound ON. The food is good, and the folks who work there are very sweet. One person was particularly welcoming to us, we later found out that was the owner!
