“Traveling on Christmas led to few options for lunch.We found this Chinese restaurant in normal Illinois just off I55, exit 165.The sweet and sour chicken was really good.The lo mein also was very good.Portions of those lunch specials were more than adequate for the 3 of us to eat to satisfaction.And reasonably priced.Also the staff was friendly and welcoming.“

“Not the best Asian food I've ever had, but certainly not the worst. Their orange chicken is really good. I've had the sesame shrimp & beef, the honey walnut shrimp, the black pepper steak, Beijing beef, teriyaki chicken & broccoli beef. All are just ok. I like that you can choose your side - like steamed rice, fried rice or chow mein. Prices are ok.“

“I recently went to the Hy-Vee bakery looking for a cake for my sons birthday. As I was looking through the cake selection book I happened to look over and up behind the bakery counter and I saw the most fantastic cheeseburger cake. I spoke with Monika, and found out that it was a specialty cake that she had just added to display. I asked if it was possible to customize it as my son eats plain hamburgers and would find the humor in that and Monika was very accommodating. The cake turned out so amazing. Monika is so creative and the cake turned out so good. A big THANK YOU to Monika for being just so nice and accommodating but also a fantastic creator of beautiful tasty cakes!“

“My Daughter and I went and dined in today. As the food was delicious, the service was not. It was not even busy!! There was only one other person in there. This poor older lady, had to go up and ask for a to go box cause no one came back to check on her. Our waitress only came once to check on us Of course it took her a while to even refill our water. The high point was when a personal call came thru on the business line, and then the F-bomb flew by the employee telling the lady to not call back. And then the conversation went on with the employees about the person that called. And more descriptive language was used. It was very unprofessional and not worth even leaving a tip for. (Even tho I did 🤷‍♀️). So needless to say I was very disappointed.“
