“Desthil is one of the few places my friend with food sensitiveies can eat. Last minute she was in town and we decided to grab early dinner at Desthil. I didnt realize it was high-school homecoming and ISU family weekend. Christopher got us right in despite the rush. Service was wonderful. Thank you Desthil!!

“I was hungry for a good breakfast and we have never tried The Original Pancake House. I ordered the 2 egg breakfast with bacon and Xtra Crisp hash browns, the wife ordered 2 crepes a strawberry and a cherry. Our waitress was very nice and professional. It didn't take very long to get, unfortunately that's probably why the hash browns were not crispy. The thick cut bacon and eggs were cooked well. The crepes looked good but I didn't try them I was pretty much full when I finished my glass of milk, I always love to top off my breakfast with a glass of milk. Kinda like a chaser.
The sun room was nice but very loud my wife had to remove her hearing aid after being there a few minutes. The whole place looked clean and new.
I was able to pay at the table by scanning the ticket. Which is somewhat okay, but in today's age is this going to start a skip without paying“

“We enjoy Papa Murphy's Take - and - Bake Pizza every time we visit our daughter's family in Sandy Utah. The 10.99 Large 2 topping on TUESDAYS is a big hit with my 2 grandsons. Their ALL Veg is Wonderful, you just need to cook about 3 minutes extra to crisp the crust. I wish the Joliet IL area had many stores. My favorite Pizza is Aurelio's in Joliet on West Jefferson St.“

“When we went to Tony’s the guy taking orders were on the phone and took a little while to take our order. The tacos have good size and good amount of meat. The taste of the tacos is not the best Ive taste but they are good. The tortas the have too much bread and not a lot of meat. They have a station with salsas and lemons which is nice. Price wise is average.
The bathroom was dirty, it needed some cleaning.“

“Best pizza and cheesey flat stix in town, service is phenomenal! Great atmosphere good for the family or a just a night out for fun! Trivia on Thursday is a blast!! Definitely a top notch pizza joint with great drinks! Alexis and Kai do a great job everytime. It is much appreciated!!“
“4/5 -- Great service. Food was high quality despite my med-rare steak being delivered well done. The manager took care of it promptly and with no bother at all. Seasonal menu features were well-executed. Better than average for a hotel restaurant, especially on campus.“

“Traveling on Christmas led to few options for lunch.We found this Chinese restaurant in normal Illinois just off I55, exit 165.The sweet and sour chicken was really good.The lo mein also was very good.Portions of those lunch specials were more than adequate for the 3 of us to eat to satisfaction.And reasonably priced.Also the staff was friendly and welcoming.“

“Tallest buildings within Normal town. 2 mins walk away from Uptown Station and Uptown circle where there are many shops and restaurants to visit. These dorms are connected to Watterson Dinning center which is biggest dinning center on campus. Dorms are safety and convenience are core.“

“We decided to go to Avanti's for dinner to celebrate my birthday instead of our usual delivery or pick up now that the dining room is open again.Very disappointed...you order at the front counter at the cashier and pay ahead of time, seat yourself, and then get your own drinks back by the banquet room and kitchen. Not sure what happens when they are busy! Only about 3 or 4 other tables with a few customers at each so they were not busy that evening.Someone did bring the food to our table, then we were never checked on or asked if we needed anything else. I even had to track down my own take home containers.I hope this is only temporary as we had hoped for table service in a resturant. I guess we will stick with delivery or pick up for awhile. Food was still good, although the salad could have been fresher.“

“Listen, all us Foodies know that the small “Mom & Pop” shops, “Roach Coach’s”, “Dives” and “Hole in the Wall” places are the best place to eat! This place should NOT be overlooked!I did a signing with some wonderful people there today and had the honor of tasting their food. Now, my husband and I are Chinese Foodies and I am at a loss for words! The food at this amazing little place is LITERALLY the BEST Chinese Food we have EVER eaten!We live in a tiny rural central Illinois town and it is a drive to get there but I am telling you it is so good we would drive to Normal just to get our Chinese fix from this off the chart’s restaurant!“

“Destihl is an absolute MUST STOP kinda place. We had a hotel for the night just down the road, and were struggling to find a place that looked good, and had Gluten Free options. We saw Destihl on our way into town and I’m so glad we decided to turn around. My husband and I both ordered a drink, had an appetizer, two entrees (one being an upcharge for GF crust), and a kids meal, for only $60. They had live music outside, and a great ambiance inside. If we ever drive through Bloomington again, this will absolutely be our stop!“
