“Best Popeyes ever! I live in TX and everything is not bigger and better there. The Popeyes up here beats ours hands down. Chicken fresh, ample portion and hot enough to burn your mouth. Great flavor. The ones in TX are cold and look like shriveled prunes. Job well done N. Chicago!“
“The food was fire! I got the 8 wing combo. I was able to get half Korean bbq and half lemon pepper. It was so good. I ordered online. I would have given 5 stars but the service is slow. I shouldn't order ahead of time and still have to wait for my food. All of the staff are super nice and they give you an update on how long it's going to take. The inside of the restaurant has a few tables to sit, but majority pickup their food to go. I would definitely go back.“
“I got the Classic Philly- and it was outstanding! It literally just melts in your mouth, cheesy bite of deliciousness. I also got the cheese fries which were also phenomenal and definitely can tell made out of REAL potatoes versus a frozen bag of fries.I’m not even mad I got it all over my work clothes eating in the car because I have a 30 minute lunch break. My only disappointment was I called twice and no one answered the phone and went to voicemail.I don’t know why this establishment didn’t have more people in (maybe because it is Sunday) because this is the BEST sandwich I’ve had in the Lake County area! I will be back again!“
“I didn’t get a chance to take a picture because I ate my food so fast ?. This was my first time trying their chicken. Everything was absolutely delicious. The employees were so friendly. The restaurant was so clean inside and out. I really enjoyed eating here!“
“First time trying out Sauce & Toss, John was super helpful & provided very fast service. Chicken wings & the bucket of chicken legs were amazing along with the sauce recommendations he provided. 10/10, definitely will be back again soon. ?“
“My daughter wanted an ice cream so we ran in, she played the clawGame and didn’t win, no worries, better luck next time- as we turned around the gentleman had a prize waiting for her anyways. A small act that made our day. Thank you for the hospitality! Looking forward to ordering next week as well! :)“
“I stopped in for lunch and had a carne asada Burrito. It had fresh ingredients and was good. This was my second visit to the place. The service was good. Order at the counter, take a seat and then your food is prepared and brought out to you.“
“The chicken was tasty, however, it's a bit of a nuisance that the smallest amount of chicken you can buy is a 10 piece. EVERY fried chicken place in the world have 2+ chicken combos. No 1 person can eat 10 pieces of chicken in 1 setting, true, the chicken can be taken home, however, for out of towners (which they get a lot of) can not. They should serve combos like other spots, they'll make more money.Update: ok, so after driving from Chicago back to Michigan, I realized a few things. 1. The "wings" weren't wings, they were actually wing dings, and the thought of eating 10 wings just for myself was outrageous, however, I am kicking myself, because I could have totally eaten 10 of those wing dings. I got the chicken around 1145 am, got home close to 8pm, and those buggers were still crunchy, yes CRUNCHY. I popped them in the air fryer and they were DELICIOUS. Best wing dings I've ever eaten in my life! Get the 10 wing dings, you will eat every one. I got the Galbi spicy ?. Even the pickled radishes were fresh and delicious. 5 out of 5 for me, and I dont even like chicken like that.“
“Really tasty. Got a pan crust sausage, onion and giardiniera. Cooked to perfection. Wife kept stealing my crust because it was so good (she got the chopped salad. It was huge and delicious). We came in with a bunch of rowdy 10yr old boys after a soccer game and pretty much took the place over. They were very patient and accommodating. The kids really enjoyed their thin crust cheese, too! We will definitely be back.“
“Solid pizza & salad, and a beautiful small business Loved the fresh ingredients, and the crispy crust that HELD UP to all those fresh ingredients. We brought our kids in on Valentine's Day. What a pleasant experience!!! Beautiful space too. We will be back!“
“I grew up in Chicago and moved up north several years ago and Kobi's by far is the closest I've found to the traditional Maxwell Street polish and the Maxwell Street pork chop sandwich. You walk in and you're treated like you've been a customer for years. So if you have a taste for Maxwell Street-style food and you're up in Lake County Definitely stop in...“
“Great chicken overall. Seemed a little chewy this time. Ran out of spicy rice.. Normally go to Arlington heights location but tried Vernon hills this time and not sure why quality/freshness doesn’t seem as high and the fact they’re out of one of the most popular dishes.“
“A bit disappointing. Went to the new location, across the street from the old. At the new location, the burgers were good, but not great like the old place. Something changed - they are now double stack - but just didn't have something which made the old ones great. The place was pretty empty - it was Sunday night - but the TVs were extra loud. More than a bit distracting. Also, I "upgraded" to the loaded tots for $3 and the server brought them out separate and charged $9 as a (small) appetizer. Probably just a communication issue. Lesson learned. Can no longer highly recommend this place.“
“Great, friendly neighborhood bar & grill. 7 hours from home, brother & I spent 4 evenings here after spending days with a relative in hospital. All the staff was friendly & fun and all the food we had was great! Friendly patrons & "regulars" too! Burgers, pulled pork, hand made pizza (pre-made, frozen on site...just ask!)...but the rueben was best I've ever had! ?[PS: Try the Malort at your own peril,.. ?]Thanks to Paul at the grill & all the servers, we had a good week & uncle got home safe. 10 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“
“I like the food, but when you order an 8 piece chicken dinner I would think that one would get 8 pieces. When you call nobody answers, voice mail is full, so how does one inform someone that somebody needs to learn arithmetic, math, or just the basic knowledge that there are 10 digits if you look at your hands, and if you take two away you have 8. Very disappointed this last trip…..“
“We were given this place as a suggestion as a must stop n eat. This Small gem is awesome. We made it here and the food was delicious, Kyle was on the grill as Miss Ashyia was covering the service. She was super sweet, friendly and allowed us to try the type of flavor of cheese cake before I bought it. I asked for her for a recommendation and she suggested the cookie dough cheesecake and it was amazing. I ended up purchasing two, one for later, (the chocolate, also delicious, and better in my personal opinion than Cheesecake Factory) Definitely stopping by again for their superb service. It’s great to visit these spots from Chicago, it’s been 24 yrs since I was last here in Chicago thank you for your great service Kyle and Miss Ashyia. ? As a Navy Veteran I want to thank you for your service.“
