“Stopped in here to try the Jibarito Smash Burger. Was impressed with this bad boys...it was like that fr. It comes with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, grilled onions and their version of animal-style sauce. The burger was a well-prepared smash burger and the bun had two fried plantains for the bun. 9.2. Ngl this was solid all the way around burger. The vibe inside wasn't my type but I wasn't there for that. Overall 8.9...the customer service was cool she got me straight on my drinks and food. But definitely will come back for the burger.“

“The interactive coin op playground of the Chciago arcade / bar scene. Priced for a cash night out- cc welcome and there is an atm. Street parking is easy but ya know how that is- taking CTA or Rideshare to Logan Square is simple. Order bites and shareable from Fry Like An Eagle next door and they deliver! Say hey to Dr. Z and be kind to the staff they are great humans there to make sure you have fun!“

“A wonderful spot to sit down and have a drink and apps. The bartender Carli was very kind a gave great suggestions which made the experience that much better. Matt was very personable, talking to me about music and my visit to Chicago, great vibes all around. I’m from the south and I wish we had oysters half as good as the pickled oysters on the menu. “This place is a real gem not to be missed. It’s unpretentious, with approachable knowledgeable staff. The prices are unbeatable and they always have some fun or funky wines to try. I love the monthly deep read nights, the atmosphere and music is always well curated. I just hope to get into one of their classes, but they sell out quick!“

“This is a review for Nightshade. To get there, you go to the back of Moonflower then through the unmarked black door to the right and downstairs. There are two rooms - one for music/ dancing and the other with small tables for drinks. The night I went the music room wasn’t open (guess you have to know when it’s club night). A bit bare bones in terms of furniture/ atmosphere. But, the drinks were EXCELLENT. Not a huge selection but the table I was with ordered about four different drinks from the specialty menu and they were all better than I was expecting.
Though the downstairs is designed for drinking I saw people eating from the menu upstairs so apparently you can do that.“

“Pete's has become our favorite date spot. We came in February for Valentine's Day, and have been four times since, including this past weekend for my birthday. It is always fun, there are always new songs, and the performers are amazingly talented. Christian, Tony, Anthony and Jeremy (sorry for any misspellings) are very creative, charismatic and always put on a great show. Our favorite servers are Bree and Miriam. Can't wait to come back!“

“I just walked out of the door and am so glad that God sent us there. We tried 3 places prior to walking in CheSa’s doors which was a definite blessing. We had the catfish skillet, bourbon peach cobbler franchise toast, chicken sausage and scrabbles eggs w/cheese washed down with a breakfast martini. Absolutely delicious and with the owner/chef being very warm w/great hospitality. We’re definitely going back.“

“This is one of my favorite neighborhood bars. We love the atmosphere here; there’s always good music, good company, and popcorn! My husband and I love this place so much that we actually booked the bar for our wedding after party. Our guests absolutely loved the space and the service was fantastic! “This is a great place to dance, especially when a certain DJ is playing. I recommend checking their website or social media to see what music will be featured for the night. The venue is small, so it can get crowded, and the air circulation isn't the best, making it feel quite hot at times. However, there’s a nice outdoor area toward the back if you need a break. You can dance near the DJ on stage or hang out at the tables near the entrance and the bar seating if you prefer a more relaxed vibe. Overall, a fun spot with good energy!“

“The penultimate neighborhood bar with plenty of characters, shenanigans, and fun! It's our "Just One More" place. Bikers, Rock Stars, and Divas will feel right at home. Live music most weekends, outdoors in the summer in a large parking lot. Everybody who knows, goes there. John & Sparklyn are good people!“

“Love this place! Very cool local bar with great staff. They are also not just dog friendly, but dog enthusiastic. Good NA beer available (room for improvement on options) and they have Ruffles and a few other crisp options. Not a place to take the Queen on a date, but certainly a nice place to meet new people if you’re new to the area.“

“Honestly, I love it here. I had an issue with some dude being weird and the whole bar took care of me. I feel safe here as a femme presenting person and this place is getting all of my money. It's definitely a regulars bar, but Jeff is cool! And so is Viv! They made me feel very safe and welcome! I'm super thrilled with the Archie's crew!“

“It was my 1st time there. I was there on Saturday, August 12th 2023 from 9pm to 1am.Bartender was very nice, Tony the karaoke DJ was awesome, nice atmosphereand people. Reasonably priced drinks and food was good. I recommend the chicken strips
Parking: Parking lot is a little small, but if you get there early enough you'll have no trouble finding Parking“
