“I gave them 4 stars for the friendly and quick service. I believe I paid 18.00 for 2 shots of some peanut butter tasting shot. Thats a hefty price, which is why i hang out in the burbs. Regardless, fun atmosphere. I would drop by again for a beer or two. Did not eat.“

“This is a fine neighborhood staple. I frequent Mondays when not traveling for work. Orla is generally bartender and an absolute wonderful person. Owen one of the owners I had met in the past is also great as well as the entire staff. The food is better than what you would get in a bar as they pride themselves on a grand quality with great price points. Typically not seen in many Chicago establishments.
The dog friendly patio is massive. Introducing both high top and regular tables. They have a large indoor dining area separate from the bar area. It's great for family dinners, parties and more. Get in there and get some food, a properly poured Guinness goes a long way here, I don't even think Guinness pours em like Gideon Welles does!!!“

“Ok I see you!!!! First timer and Absolutely loved!! Cheif O'Neill's!! They definitely have the luck of the Irish!! Go for the brunch! Outstanding! Food chefs kiss! was superb! From the moment We walked in. Beautiful decor. Love the ceilings. Staff service was on point! Do you hear me? Lacking nothing! Hostess was very polite and attentive I liked her. ( tata ?name sorry I tried to remember! Our waiter Sàsa was Amazing 👏 you Rock!! ❤️ staff refilling food you didn't go unnoticed by me 👏💯🙏 Everyone was working together to give Superb service! Guinness cheddar soup was fire!!Thank you we will be back!! Run don't walk to this spot! Highly recommend.“

“I’m going to be so honest and say I’ve never been there but we can’t wait to. The owners and their family saved Thanksgiving when they donated food, resources and a kitchen to prepare food for 400-500 people (free of charge) at the 28th annual Thanksgiving Dinner at St. Benedict’s when the church’s kitchen became unusable. We met Halsted personally while volunteering and we were just take aback at how generous, kind and lovely these folks were to take on this challenge and on a holiday. I hope our community will continue to remember this and support these fantastic folks for a long, long time.“

“I'm traveling for work, just landed in Chicago, went to go to the USO, and was told, as a veteran having had deployed to Iraq, that I am not allowed in the USO by some civilian. That's wild. Guy said he needed DoD id, then I pointed to where my member ID was. He said not good enough and told me I had to leave. I've gone to a lot of USO's and never been turned away as a vet.“

“Stopped in yesterday for lunch, first-time visitors. Smash burger excellent, Cubano sandwich excellent, fries were outstanding. We sat at the bar and the young lady serving us was cheerful and attentive. We'll be back! Thank you! 🤗🍺👍“
