Not great experience. Been purchasing on Uber Eats for months, yesterday my orders kept getting cancelled by the store. I went to the location and the super nice lady who is always there was not there. I told the gentleman that Uber Eats was not working and told him what I always order. I wanted to pay them directly the amount uber charges, which of course would net them more money. He called the owner and the owner said they would not sell me the ice cream that I had bought...read full review
Once again the owner of this store has gone above and beyond! There was a snafu with my online order. When I arrived to pick up my ice cream cake it wasn't ready. There was a mix up with the order. The owner offered us a full size cake that was already made rather than the half size cake we ordered. I tried to pay the difference and she refused. The owner worked to make it right. We'll be back for sure!
Been coming here for many years. Yes the inside could use a little bit of a refresh, but the ice cream is truly better tasting and more affordable than the newer place across the street. My kids ALWAYS pick this shop when we're treating them to ice cream. We hope they never leave downtown Northbrook!
