“Its really doesnt get better than Dear Franks. Everyt8me we go, the tood is the exact same as before. Hands down the best polish sausage in the area. This is the only place thats ever asked me if id like my hot dog charred or not(couodnt reccomend charred more!). Its been the same staff for as long as i can remember and they are always fantastic! Extremely family oriented as well which i absolutely love! I really couldn't reccomend this place more for an amazing hot dog and polish sausage!“

“Went in for a hotdog and some cheese fries. It was mid. The fries- if you like salt with your fries, this is the place for you. The abundance of salt was insane- not my taste preference but again. If you like salt- these are for you. You're getting a good amount for the price you are paying. Wish the guy was a bit more friendlier but I get it- it's a tiny business and it's a congested area filled with hipster restaurants. The only reason I didn't give it a 3 was because everything looked neat.“

“We moved here two years ago from NY and finally had Josh’s for dinner. Their menu is fantastic, with a lot of different options. We had the Ribs and Greek Chicken dinner. I've been to 'em all on the north side - Lerner's, the Ranch,' the Pit, Sammy Skobel's, Wolfy's, Fluky's, Dear Franks', Michaels, Stashes, Mutt and Jeff's, Shmendels, and all of the Irvings. ALL of them. Little Island stands right up there. What they do have that is the best in Cook County are their fries. Best ever. They don't travel well, so have them there. Grilled polish is outstanding. And NEVER, EVER, EVER order a dog or a Polishj with anything red - ketchup OR tomato. Two stars for atmosphere - if that's important to you, go to Portillo's.“

However the guys working at Kong Dog are very friendly and efficient and they were happy to answer questions and make suggestions. I have never had a Kong Dog but I give it 10/10 and the mango lemonade was delicious combo too! I’ll be back for sure.“

“Today was the first time I have ever Ben in a Portillo’s Restaurant, first time I have ever had an Italian beef sandwich. I have a Lotta friends in Fort Myers who go all the way to Tampa to get this sandwich and they continue to tell me how good it is. So this evening we decided to go to Portillo since I was visiting on my grandkids and my daughter and son-in-law, I really enjoyed that Italian beef sandwich. There are a lot of other good things on the menu, but that was what I was there for. Unfortunately, they do not have a Portillo’s Station FortnMyer Florida. I can only hope that one day they will build it there.“

Not only do they keep their food fresh and delicious. They also have the most experienced workers I’ve ever seen, working here for over 2 decades each and every one of them. Making sure everyone gets the proper preparations for their food. Would 100% recommend anyone who is either visiting Chicago, or hasn’t tried this place. Irving’s does it like no one else simply because of experience and also knowing almost all there costumers personally. Not to mention they’ve been open for over 50 years now!
