“Did a staycation for NYE and had brunch at South Side Social. The mimosas weren't bad and the buffet was somewhat limited. I want to visit again because their lunch/dinner meal has some appeal. They provide the food for the bar and the pizza and Buffalo shrimp were very good! We had extra cheese on the pizza but it wasn't necessary as the toppings were hearty and tasty. No food pics this time but I do want to revisit.“

“The food was great. Love the onion rings. The host on the other hand, told my sister that we had to move to a different seating because the seat we was sitting at originally is for more than two people. So we moved to a different seat. Two caucasian lady come in and sit at the same table we moved from and nothing at all was said to them. We later was told that we can seat ourselves, which makes this situation even more confusing. Why did the male host ask us to switch our seat???? Food: 5/5 | Service: 2/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5“

“We really enjoy the food plus the prices are very reasniable . We have tried almost everything on the menu and have enjoyed it all. Blake is an excellent bartender and host who makes you feel at home. He has a friendly personality and always has a smile on his face. Megan is a wonderful waitress who is friendly and outgoing. Best of all she makes us feel special because she always remembers what we like best. The owner (Roger) is a great person and always greets us with a big smile. He makes us feel like we are always welcome. We highly recommend BJ's for a nice evening out I'd you are in the Oak Lawn area. joel/Roy“

“This is my favorite place to eat , great prices , they have items on the menu that u can’t get anywhere else like the pork tenderloin dinner , it’s huge, double pork chop dinner around 20 bucks take you all day to eat it . “I found a neighborhood gem in Oaklawn.! I was at Demma's Bar & Grill to play free bingo on Monday at 6 pm. The people are kind. The environment is for individuals who want to have fun and be stimulated by activities that you can engage in, such as pool, darts, slots, machines for gaming, and last bingo on Mondays. I ordered the patty melt w chips. The cost was $8 plus tax. I paid with a debit card.. Fifteen minutes later, the food was brought to my table by the cook Sue. The patty melt was made with butter grilled, rye bread , grilled onio.ns , and cheese. The taste was amazing! It is a husband and wife, family owned business. It is more than just a bar. The owners give to its communities by having free food on holidays and Chicago Bears games . In addition, they help sponsor an event called Big Bikes for Little Tykes helping kids with cancer. Last, this place has annual food drives for local churches and food pantries. This friendly environment is a great place to visit .
