“Amazing food. Great atmosphere. What more can be said?“

“We dined at Topaz in August 2024 and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. We were seated in a comfortable booth. A special mention goes to our server, Sasa, who was incredibly attentive and provided great suggestions. He even surprised us with complimentary limoncellos, which were absolutely delicious. For appetizers, we had the grilled octopus and hummus—both prepared to perfection and bursting with flavor. For the main course, we chose the Dover sole and Amish chicken. These dishes were exceptional and stood out as some of the best we've ever had. The potatoes served with the sole were also a delightful surprise. Portions were generous, and the prices were quite reasonable considering the quality and quantity of the food. We highly recommend Topaz and will definitely be returning!“

“Good food, good variety. R&B classics playing in the background. What more could you ask?“

“We recently got married at The Elm this past weekend (10/13/2024) and can't express in words how satisfied we were with their service. Starting from the first day that we went to see The Elm we were treated with the upmost respect and professionalism. We had our ceremony in the Kensington room, and our reception in the Madison room. The atmosphere and vibe of both rooms was everything that we could hope for. The staff was incredible, the food/drinks were AMAZING, and our guests had nothing but positive feedback. WE HIGHLY RECOMMED THIS PLACE FOR A WEDDING AND/OR ANY OTHER EVENT.“

“Listen, this was a very great restaurant, I’m shocked that it’s not getting more buzz! You all should come down and try out their rodeo cheeseballs which are packed with lots of flavor, and if you want chicken tryout their Dubai chicken sandwich, they put it on this really great tasting bread from Dubai. Don’t want to eat a ton of carbs? That’s alright try their Flying Dutchman burger without the shame or guilt of not leaving here without a meal! It’s something for everyone and if you have a sweet tooth get you a shake. 🥰not sponsored but I really enjoyed my time here and I hope you will as well.“

“The best cheeseburgers ever!“

“This is a neighborhood staple! Good food great people!“

“The food here is FANTASTIC. We ordered the stuffed banana peppers, coconut shrimp, salmon that’s on corn tamale cake (oh my goodness), seafood linguine, and lobster mac n cheese. We were both really impressed with how delicious all of the food was. Our waiter Jorge was so kind and attentive. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended.“

It has a small town feel where everyone is super friendly and everything we have tried so far on the menu was AMAZING! The burgers are the best Around! Chicken Dumping Soup is 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Bartenders are super friendly and on top of their game! HIGHLY Recommend this place! 💪🤘🇺🇸“

“Fine folks - Good staff workers that take photographs as well“

“Their amazing cheeseburger. My favorite of all time.“

“My girlfriend and I found this place 5 days ago and decided to come back for lunch. We really enjoyed the onion soup, onion rings and steak sandwich, and chili. Lynn was very friendly and shared some interesting ghost stories and the story about the 1961 plane crash in the cornfield. The food, service, and atmosphere were all great. It feels like visiting an old family place, and it’s definitely worth the drive! No-wait at all!“

“Food and drink- awesome - awesome!“

“We had the best lunch. Our food was tasty and hot, not to mention generously delicious. No wait, great help. Open kitchen. I hope they open one further southwest.“

“So I visited this place at least three times with a carry out order and customer service was awesome first time. Second I decided to go due to the good food and definitely the customer service, again awesome. Third, I enjoyed my food as always with recommendations from the young lady ( forgot her name). All three times I was either on crutches or knee brace. They were so sweet they helped me with my food to car an even told me to pull up to place and they’ll have my order ready for me! They were very nice to help me and for that I’m grateful. They went above and beyond. They made sure I was taken care of. So I brought my daughter there and she agree with the great customer service. Thank you guy so much. We will see you guys soon.“

“Our first time there. Food above expectation, good menu variety. Wine & beer selections above average, very good cocktail selection. Generous happy hour(s). We'll be back for sure and add this place to our "regulars" list.“

“I've been here several times in the past and I really love their food selections. However this time the service was not very friendly and the booths are getting to look very shabby. They are stained and need to be reupholstered. Doesn't make me want to go there again any time soon“

“Outstanding experience!!! Can not say enough about the entire staff from the front of the house to the back. Attentive and friendly. Food was excellent! Made our dining experience special and something we will continue to talk about! Excellent job to the entire team and I can't wait to come back!“

“Great staff. Excellent service. Breakfast available all day.“

“We go a few times a year between Schaumburg and downtown Chicago. We love the food and the service. Keep up the stellar work!“

“I just recently started going there since last year. No negative reviews here. Every single experience has been great alongside with the food. When it’s your birthday, the staff sings to you. You pay what you get and it’s worth every penny. Keep up the great work Alexander’s!! As busy as it gets: even when people are standing room only: it goes by quickly and the staff greets you with their kindness and smiles.“

“Loud!
My experience was fine. My friend, however, had difficulty finding a meal that wasn't spicy. Spices added to food weren't identified on the menu or listed by the waiter when he provided a description. Despite the complexity of my friend's dietary needs, our waiter and a supervisor were extremely patient and accommodating.“

“Crowded bar but loved the atmosphere, wine samples and dinner. Great birthday.“

“Everything on the menu is fabulous I recently ordered grecian steak. The quality of the meat dont compare to even the fancy overpriced meat at these big name steak house. It was tender juicy seasoned just enough to enjoy the real flavor of the meat. It was enough for 4 meals. And the price is unbelievably right“

“Very good service and food!“

“great burgers 🍔, dogs and gyros“

“Catered Easter dinner from Bella Mia and everything was exceptional - the food and the wonderful customer service. We will definitely be ordering again.“

“The atmosphere is nice. The food and drinks are delicious and the service was on point.“

“Great Food , Great Service, Clean and very welcoming and relaxing ! Very Nice people ! I've eaten many of the items on the menu and haven't been disappointed !“

“It was our first time here, the place was packed, they had a HS fundraiser going on so there was a bit of a wait for our table (we didn't know this when we decided to come here.) Although the place was so so busy our server Erica, was on point & didn't miss a beat. S/O to her awesome service...The food was all very yummy too. We have already said we will be back, we really enjoyed the Caesar salad with Kale and the flat breads.“

“Had our holiday celebration and had an extraordinary experience - great food and excellent service.“

“We had a large group just before lunchtime on a Saturday, and they were great about squeezing us in. Our server D was amazing, truly, and the other staff were helpful and attentive, too. The food was delicious, hot, fast, priced affordably. They have a large menu. We had some special diets in our group and there were enough options for them to find what they needed. I definitely would return and would recommend it to friends.“

“Friendly service, good food“

“Great service. The catfish(filet/whole) was delicious. Our waitress Pamela was so nice and professional. I was there yesterday 3/15/22 party of 6 with my line dancing sisters. I will definitely be back!!!!“
