“I come to the oak Lawn establishment quite often, but haven't been there in a while due to work commitments . I was in last week and as usual, I ordered with Bill at the cash register. He jokes with me as he knows what I like, but more importantly, he was genuinely concerned that I was ok because he hadn't seen me in some time. I always get 2 shack burgers, and a drink. He calls me tht best dressed man in the place as I still get dressed in a suit everyday to go into the office. Great sense of humor.“

“The food was great. Love the onion rings. The host on the other hand, told my sister that we had to move to a different seating because the seat we was sitting at originally is for more than two people. So we moved to a different seat. Two caucasian lady come in and sit at the same table we moved from and nothing at all was said to them. We later was told that we can seat ourselves, which makes this situation even more confusing. Why did the male host ask us to switch our seat???? Food: 5/5 | Service: 2/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5“

GOOD ————————————————————- :Our order came out quick hot and tasted great. food is on point. Veg omelette was bigger than some big burritos I’ve had.
We sat in booth by kitchen. We were a party of three for mid morning breakfast
The Inside feels welcoming with a positive vibe.
BAD ——————————————————————The outside needs help. It all looks tired & in need of repairs:Gutter, parking lot asphalt walls could use a deep power wash.
Glad we stopped in but kept putting it off in the past cause the outside was not up to par with the others.“

“Great lunch with my 24 yr old grandson who fully recommends the burgers at this establishment. BLT was amazing also. More importantly our server, Rachel, was very pleasant, attentive and her service was excellent! Would totally recommend dining there.“

“We really enjoy the food plus the prices are very reasniable . We have tried almost everything on the menu and have enjoyed it all. Blake is an excellent bartender and host who makes you feel at home. He has a friendly personality and always has a smile on his face. Megan is a wonderful waitress who is friendly and outgoing. Best of all she makes us feel special because she always remembers what we like best. The owner (Roger) is a great person and always greets us with a big smile. He makes us feel like we are always welcome. We highly recommend BJ's for a nice evening out I'd you are in the Oak Lawn area. joel/Roy“

“Did a staycation for NYE and had brunch at South Side Social. The mimosas weren't bad and the buffet was somewhat limited. I want to visit again because their lunch/dinner meal has some appeal. They provide the food for the bar and the pizza and Buffalo shrimp were very good! We had extra cheese on the pizza but it wasn't necessary as the toppings were hearty and tasty. No food pics this time but I do want to revisit.“

“My family hosted my brother’s repast here this past Saturday. Everything was AMAZING!!!….. the food, the service, the actual seating, the atmosphere…. EVERYTHING!!! “Portillo's: Chicago Classics Done Right

Portillo's is a Chicago institution for a reason! Their Italian beef is amazing - thinly sliced, flavorful, and perfectly dipped. The cheeseburger was juicy and cooked just the way I like it. Can't go wrong with their crinkle-cut fries either. Only reason it's not 5 stars is the wait times can be long. But hey, that's how you know it's good, right? The onion rings were crispy. I also ordered the cake shake, the spicy lemon cake shake. It was okay but the first time I got it it was pretty good. Other than that, my visit here was awesome.“

“Service was amazing, the atmosphere great…the song selection had me dancing and singing throughout my dinner experience which was fun. Rob, the manager, was very friendly along with my server. Would definitely recommend anyone who wants a nice dinner out to go there.
Kid-friendliness: My children are very friendly kids and the staff was nice enough to engage with them and give them a happy experience. Thank you staff of TGI Fridays in Oak Lawn.“
