“Wow this was an amazing dining experience. José was our server but the service is really a team effort. The service was my personal favorite: we had full water glasses and always had what we needed without anyone hovering. The food was incredible - classic French food cooked perfectly. I think I liked the house salad better than my entree even though my entree (salmon) was delicious. The house salad was lightly dressed and came with a goat cheese crouton. Dessert and coffee were also delicious. Highly recommend.“

“I had a great time at this lovely little restaurant last night. I was so excited to try it and I love French food. We ordered almost every appetizer and they were all fantastic. My favorites were the venison steak tartare, and the salad lyonnaise. I had the duck for my entree and it was incredible. My friends had the steak tartare and the sausages as their entrees and they were super happy. Wine was also awesome. I can't wait to go back and try more.“

“My sister Shelly Nagy purchased tickets to a Sunday afternoon drag brunch to celebrate my birthday! Marco not only held the door open for his guests, but he was also very kind and generous! He offered 2nd helpings (my only regret is that I did not indulge on that offer). Our meal was plentiful, delicious and presented beautifully! The bartenders cocktails (garnished w/ fresh flowers!) are pure elegance and his customer service skills are excellent! The drag show was a blast! The music was a hit (inside and out) and the upscale atmosphere will always have me anxiously waiting to come back soon! “I love this restaurant and have been coming for years. It is cozy and quaint and just a special place. The food is always good (if you don't like crepes, there are a few non-crepe dishes, but I've never tried them) with a nice variety of options (vegetarian/seafood/chicken/beef). Decent wine list. I usually get the Nutella crepe for dessert, but be sure to ask for a steak knife to make it easier to cut through the crispy goodness. When the weather is nice, definitely try to get a seat in the backyard patio area. It is a calm, secluded area, unlike the usual Chicago sidewalk setups that leave you staring at car exhausts. The owner is often there, and it's great to get a chance to say hi. The service is always great without being 'fancy.' Just a lovely little neighborhood place with a French bistro feel, that I keep going to even though I no longer live anywhere near the neighborhood.“

“My favorite french restaurant. And every one I bring here loves it. I went one on vday n it felt so cute cuz there’s so much cuteness and pink. The food is delicious. So different and much better than restaurant themed restaurants in west loop and downtown that are owned by the same rich investors that own all of them. I don’t expect people that like those restaurants to like these restaurants owned by these 2 brothers as much. These are the real deal like restaurants in Spain and France not faux ones. The prices are not too bad for the quality of food. I haven’t one dish that didn’t taste amazing in these restaurants. They had just changed the menu and it was amazing although i liked the old one but i know they can’t keep the same one forever. This time i was amazed with deserts too, they used to be too sweet for my taste but now they’re perfection. Thank you for making my day every time i chose to dine in the city and creating amazing food n ambiance. The staff is always extremely friendly and knows and even when short staffed they’re always very sweet n never pretentious“

“We had a wonderful dinner celebrating a couple of occasions within our group and Julian went above and beyond to ensure it was a special night. Food was great. Staff were all attentive. Only negative was that It was quite loud and hard to hear each other across the booth, but wouldn't stop me from coming back. Great experience thanks to Julian and team!!“
