All food was good but saag paneer in particular was the bomb. So was nihari (authentic!). Elachi chai was great , too. Very clean, down to the bathroom. Kind service.“

“Stopped by Hot N' Spicy Chicago on Devon Ave for a late-night bite and was impressed. Grabbed the Chicken Chutney Roll—tender chicken wrapped in a soft paratha with a tangy chutney kick. Also tried the Masala Fries, which were crispy and packed with flavor. The staff was friendly, and the place had a cozy vibe. If you're in the area and craving a flavorful halal meal, this spot is worth checking out. Definitely coming back to try more of their menu.“

“Stopped by Khan BBQ on Devon for dinner and wow it hit exactly what I was craving. Got chicken boti, a couple seekh kababs, fresh naan straight from the tandoor, and a side of daal fry. The meat was so tender and juicy marinade was deep and flavorful not just spicy for no reason. Nan was soft and buttery still warm when I sat down. Portions are solid too I had leftovers for later.“

“I’ve tried their Chicken Noodles, Chicken Fried Rice, Beef Shawarma, and Shrimp Pasta. Overall, the food is good, and I particularly liked their Chicken Noodles. 🍜

However, the service could definitely be improved. There have been several times when I’ve tried calling to place a pickup order, but they don’t answer the phone. This ends up making me wait longer because I have to go to the restaurant in person to place my pickup order.

There’s definitely a lot of room for improvement when it comes to customer service and handling pickup orders. With better communication and responsiveness, the overall experience could be much better.“

“We were staying in Downtown Chicago, and were craving some good halwa puri, nihari and some good Pakistani chai. This restaurant had it all. I honestly was hesitant to come here because we saw there was a couple of 1 star ratings but I am so glad I opened google and read the one star. People are so ignoring that they gave this business a 1 star because they didn’t want to pay for their yogurt. I would give this restaurant 6 star overall. The halwa puri was amazing, and the nihari tasted great! So glad we checked it out! Definitely a gem in the Chicago downtown!“

“Grabbed dinner at Ghareeb Nawaz and got the chicken biryani and a chili chicken paratha. Biryani was loaded with flavor and the rice had that nice spice kick without being overpowering. Paratha was crispy on the edges and stuffed full. Place is no frills and always busy but they move quick. Portions are huge so I had leftovers for the next day.“

“Man Tahoora really lives up to the hype. Grabbed a couple samosas they were perfectly crispy with that savory filling not too oily at all plus a big helping of halwa puri and a pistachio falooda that was so creamy and just sweet enough. The place was bright and clean staff was super nice and explained the different sweets when I asked. Everything tasted authentic just like what I grew up having. Will absolutely be coming back to try more of the ladoo and barfi next time.“

“We had a great experience at Delhi Darbar! We arrived very close to closing time, but Asif was extremely kind and still accommodated us and made sure we were able to enjoy our meal without feeling rushed.

The food was delicious, but what impressed us the most was the excellent customer service. Asif was welcoming, respectful, and went above and beyond for us even though they were about to close. We truly appreciated the hospitality.

“I was with my friends at this restaurant it was Thursday we ordered Mutton Afghani Pulao and Chicken Biryani.

Mutton Afghani pulao - 10 out of 10.

Taste quantity and texture of the meat was very tasty with soup provided with pulao.

Whenever you see this review specially on Thursday must try pulao.

Chicken Biryani - 7 out of 10.

I believe it was made too much masala the other words everyone has their own taste I have just dropped my feed back about chicken biryani.

Usually Thursday on devon there are no special dishes served at restaurants specially on meals.

No doubt we can prefer this House of Biryani on Thursday.“
