“Giving this food service despite getting ungrateful and very rude customers is hard, so from the bottom of my heart, congratulations! I spent 25 mins inside just to eat a burrito (regular chipotle style, nothing cold and all good as usual) and I had to experience and hear a lot of demanding customers asking for three or four extras (for free of course) and being very rude to the staff. However, the staff was always calm and polite, so again, good job!!!“

“Outside building looks may be bland, but the food inside is traditional Mexican awesomeness! Al Pastor tacos with cilantro/onion/pineapple was delish. Their specialty tacos (lamb/cheese) was the best. Self serve Salsa Bar with many flavor choices is truly unique. You will not regret giving Crazy Tortas a taste test for yourself!“

“Went to La Hacienda de Roselle for lunch/dinner. Best place ever for Mexican food. They give you so much food and it is very inexpensive. The staff there is friendly and you get great service. I can't say enough how great the food is. Best Mexican Restaurant in all of the Suburbs of Illinois. It deserves 5 Stars and even more! Love it there! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Had the Steak Burrito. The presentation, size and taste were what I expected. They had the good hot type / red sauce which some other places don't have. However it seemed as if the lettuce and tomato overpowered the steak/ beans & cheese? Not quite sure but something was off with the lettuce ? It did seem to be the typical shredded lettuce I've had in other burrito's?“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and I can’t stop raving about the experience! From the moment I stepped in, I was impressed by the vibrant atmosphere and welcoming staff. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious and incredibly fresh—seriously, even the water tasted super refreshing, which is a rarity!
I decided to try the marlin ceviche, and it was a game-changer. The marlin was perfectly marinated, bursting with flavor, and the presentation was beautiful. For my main dish, I ordered the huevos rancheros, and it did not disappoint! The eggs were cooked to perfection, complemented by a rich and savory sauce that tied everything together. Both dishes were so good that I found myself savoring every bite.
I can’t wait to go back and explore more of their menu. If you’re looking for a great meal, I highly recommend visiting restaurant! You won’t regret it!“

“Taco Maya is so good! If you've never been here, you have to go! There are a lot of tacos of different types here. One that I highly recommend for anyone to try is the Paneer taco! I ordered one to try and immediately regretted not getting more. The quesabirria is excellent! Try the coffee, too! You will be pleasantly surprised. The staff is very kind!“

“Love the nachos! Super yummy and a fun change up for lunch. The staff unfortunately created an uncomfortable dining experience with a lot of cussing and yelling coming from the kitchen. F’bombs about politics and covering shifts made for an unpleasant atmosphere. The lack of maintaining a professional environment or even a family friendly environment was lost today. Sounds like the staff needs a manager to be present. Take your nachos to go.“

“The food is incredible. I get the dinner with one pastor taco and one chile relleno taco and they're both the best I've had in Westmont hands down. The beans are cooked perfectly and the rice is as expected, delicious.
The customer service is always very pleasant and their salsa verde AND salsa rojo are both very flavorful with solid spice.
Really good value for a little over $10. I live right across the street and my wife and I will be getting this place more often!“

“Terrace Cantina is hands-down our favorite Mexican restaurant, and it has been for years. It’s one of those truly underrated gems that makes you wonder how more people don’t know about it—especially when it’s so much better than any chain restaurant around.
The food is consistently excellent—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every dish feels like comfort food you crave and something special at the same time. The ambiance is relaxed and welcoming, perfect whether you’re out for a casual dinner or celebrating something.
What really sets Terrace Cantina apart, though, are the people. The owners are wonderful, the servers are attentive and kind, and you genuinely feel appreciated every time you walk in. Even our toddler loves it here and begs to go after daycare—which says a lot. They’re patient, friendly, and make dining with a little one feel easy and enjoyable.
If you’re looking for authentic, delicious Mexican food in a place that feels like a community favorite (not a corporate chain), Terrace Cantina is it. We’ll keep coming back—just like we always have.“
