He handled it all with poise and great service despite there being some rude customers and under stress. Acknowledged people by name and stayed calm while still following great procedure of quality and cleanliness!

Only suggestion would be to staff better — this is one of many times I have come to this location and there is only one team member on the shift. Management/company issue - not employees fault.”

“Stop in today for the first time. Shop is very cute, owner was very helpful and pleasant she let us sample Gelato. We ordered two scoops she recommended which were yummy, also tried Dubai Chocolate. It was my first time having it and it was very good. Workers were making an order of Dubai Chocolate for a client shaped in hearts. I decided I needed them for my wedding and put in a order. They will be a great addition to our sweet table. Great shop, family friendly, great Gelato.”

“I came in tonight and was excited because I’ve been craving a jrito crunch and have been for about 3 years and my buddy Carl told all his fb friends that owner is a previous franchisee of jrs and they have the chil ito which is this same xact indgredients (yes same chili and cheese and same chips as jrito everything was phenomenal came from Thornton which is about a half hour plus drive. So so worth the drive I refused to touch anything til I got home so I could enjoy that first bite. Thank you to the owners for preserving the beautiful food of your past establishment only to bring it to your new establishment! Everything was phenomenal!!!”

I ordered a one tier 1st birthday cake and custom cookies and with just explaining my vision over the phone, they hit it out of the park. “Orland Oasis hit the spot for breakfast. The place was quiet, simple, and laid back. Nothing fancy, just easy to sit down and eat.

The staff was super friendly. They checked in enough but didn’t hover, and they seemed like they actually cared about the people eating there.

I got the Everything Skillet with scrambled eggs. It had peppers, onions, mushrooms, bacon, basically a mix of everything. The veggies still had a little crunch, the bacon was crispy, and the whole thing just tasted good. Big enough to fill me up.

Honestly, that’s all I wanted. Good food, no hassle, and a calm start to the morning.”

“This is not your typical ‘bar food’. Everything we have tried there is higher quality Restaurant Food. Bartenders … especially Artie and Kristy are attentive, efficient and fun ! The 0wner, Tommy is usually hanging around and is friendly and accommodating. Sometimes due to allergies I have to alter the menu a little and he doesn’t hesitate to switch things around a little… Do yourself a favor… stop in for a great meal and enjoy a friendly atmosphere.”

“This is my third time eating at Pita Pita. and I keep coming back for a reason! The first time, I had just the falafel, and it was the biggest—and best-tasting—falafel I’ve ever had. Every bite was packed with seasoning, and compared to other places in the area, this one stands out as the absolute best. On my second visit, I tried the mixed lunch, and it was simply delicious. The variety of meats, the creamy garlic sauce, and the refreshing salad with a hint of mint made for a healthy yet satisfying meal. The presentation was just as impressive as the flavors. Now, here I am again—two days in a row! Yesterday, I had lunch, and today, I’m back for dinner. This time, I ordered the mixed dinner, six falafels, and a side of that incredible garlic sauce. As I sit in my car taking photos of my meal, I can’t help but feel pure happiness. Five stars all around for both the food and the customer service! Pita Pita has officially earned my Golden Seal of Approval Award 🏆.”

“Rewriting this review after taking a visit to the joeys red hot location next door, the hot dogs were hot and good, prices were reasonable, I got two hot dogs and a drink for $10 and both came with a side fries! “We have been going to Petey's for over 40 years. Chased out for the bill once, when we left it on the table. Food and service has gone down hill. The bar use to be two deep. Now, luckily they have two customers at the bar. Charged for drinks we never had. Complained about a $92 bill for two appetizers and a few drinks. Told we have to apologize before we could come back in. Melissa is horrible! Better restaurants in Orland Park!”

It is a bit pricey at $34 a slice, but definitely worth it. If the Michelin guide came to the suburbs, Pizza Boys would definitely have a star. Sadly I forgot his name, but I spoke to him and shook his hand. I was not angry, I was thankful. I've been going through life trials and been homeless living out my van. That was the most caring thing someone has done for me in some time. It was a gentleman's reminder to stay safe. That was next level and I appreciate it. “Everything was good but not great. There's a lot of different hibachi places within driving distance & this was not a favorite. Our cook was nice & friendly but he was easily distracted and overcooked a lot of the food. When we were so eating our ice cream, 2 workers came over to start cleaning & dumped a bunch of chemicals on the flat top which created a bunch of steam/smoke - it was awful!! They could have waited 5 minutes while we finished - it wasn't even closing time & there was no one waiting to eat, so I didn't understand the rush! I don't see myself coming back, there's so many great options near by!”

“We ordered from the Mama Maria’s catering menu for a small gathering of 10-12 ppl we were having. EVERYTHING WAS FANTASTIC! The gentleman who took my original inquiry was pleasant, helpful and explained everything in detail. The night of the order we were running behind schedule and I called to the restaurant to make the change with no problem. When I arrived to pick up the order they were so helpful and even carried the order out to my car without hesitation. The food was amazing! All my guests loved it and it was a big hit of the weekend. Plus everything was packaged so nicely and labeled clearly. It was an abundance of food and we will definitely be ordering again! Thanks Mama!”
