Garsillos never disappoints us ! Gar (owner and chef) is amazing and the food is always top notch...especially his homemade pastas ! It's a comfortable "store front" atmosphere an probably the best kept secret in the NW Chicago suburbs!
My boyfriend and I met up here for a nice weeknight dinner. There are many wine options, and we enjoyed a reasonably-priced bottle of Chianti (no favs beans this time!). The menu has some standard American-Italian fare, but also some interesting selections for the more adventurous. Wow! We were in the area to run an errand, and found this spot thanks to other reviews. After this experience, I can't wait to have more "errands" to run in Palatine!The food and the service were both spectacular. A very low-key location, but 5-star all around.
