A Shout-Out to Courtney at Childers Eatery
My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful breakfast at Childers Eatery, 3312 N. University St., Peoria. We shared omelets with hashbrowns—fluffy omelets with flavorful fillings and crispy hashbrowns.
Courtney’s warm, attentive service was the standout. She made excellent menu recommendations, and her Tea Steeper for my wife’s tea was both charming and functional. We loved it so much we bought two.

September 16,2023 We had Childers for our daughter and son in law wedding and we had breakfast. We had paid for 300 people to make sure we had enough food. We had enough plates and drinks for 205. We ended up having about 175 people and ran out of food except for chicken tacos and no sour cream salsa or cheese. Out of all the breakfast food that was all that was left.
