“A nightclub in the middle of Harvey. And...it...was....bumpin!!!! On a Thursday!!! Just wow!!! The bar inside is fairly small but well appointed. Since it s summer? They had 3 huge tents...and a great sou d system. It was not only loud? But clear. You could hear the music clearly and the lyrics were clearly discernable from several blocks out. Wow Smittys!!! You are winning!!!
The security was also excellent. With the sidewalks all blocked off......with horses and tape and rope. Done well. Bumpin in Harvey!!! If u want a black owned nightclub? With great music? Atmosphere? Vibe? With young AND grown people? You ve found it!!!!
I only gave the food the rating I did because I didn't have any. When I do? I ll add to the review.
But? DO GO!!!! On Thursdays!!! You ll b happy you did!!!!“

“We thoroughly enjoyed having our wedding reception at The Emerald Green. The new event coordinator, Dani, is truly fantastic. She is very familiar with event hosting and has a solid understanding of the wedding industry. It was a pleasure to work with Dani for her reliable communication, attention to detail, and professional coordination of vendors and reception timeline. Dani respected our floor plan design so the seating arrangement was exactly what we envisioned for our wedding. There was ample seating and space for our DJ, photo booth, dessert table and a gifts table. Our guests especially loved the food and the open bar. Overall, we were pleased with the entire server staff of The Emerald Green. If you are interested in a beautiful venue to host your next event, we recommend this!“

“Nice place great crowd parking is good side note the parking lot across the street in the strip mall has a no parking policy at 8pm any cars in the lot will be towed and the owner will be charged a $250 tow fee the signs posted states no parking at 10:00pm which is false If you park at 8:00pm your vehicle will be towed.“

“Very clean bar. Italian beef sandwich and Sicilian pizza was delicious. Bar staff seems to be very friendly. There is quite a lack of parking at this facility. There was only three people in the bar. Went on a Monday before 4th of July 2024.

I did hear they have karaoke on the weekend so hopefully I'll be able to check that out very soon.

If you have an opportunity I would definitely check out Cuzin's.“

“Live bands and stepper sets every Sunday about 5 o'clock til 9 or later. Always a mature crowd. Drinks are affordable the whole day but happy hours are anytime before 4 or 5 in which everything goes up $1 after. It's a Harold's next door and skyway bowling across the street that has another restaurant inside if needed.“

Blake is an excellent bartender and host who makes you feel at home. He has a friendly personality and always has a smile on his face. Megan is a wonderful waitress who is friendly and outgoing. Best of all she makes us feel special because she always remembers what we like best. The owner (Roger) is a great person and always greets us with a big smile. “It's a small place with lots of big personalities. Dream is a great bar star and pours a mean drink. Prices are economical and you feel safe there. They scan everyone's ID which I think is a Posen requirement but I like it so if anything occurs, you know who was there. They have karaoke on Tuesdays and the owner has complimentary smoked wings and salad for patrons.“

The bartender/server was very friendly, the delicious food was from scratch, and I had my favorite fried chicken in the city. My boyfriend had a delicious shrimp basket with massive shrimp. “Stopped by Loncar Chico for dinner—solid neighborhood spot. Had the burger with grilled onions, side of fries, and a couple cold beers. Burger was juicy, fries were crispy, and the vibe was chill. Crowd was mixed, mostly regulars, felt real local. Service was friendly but kinda slow once it got busy. Nothing fancy, just good bar food done right. Would def slide back.“

“Today was my first time there. The food is delicious my kids love it but I don’t feel I had the great service. First, we didn’t get the napkins and utensils on time but way after the food got there. A drink spilled on me (our fault) which made me realized there was no napkins provided, by the time we found the lady for napkins I was soaking wet. Then we were about to start eating and my children needed a fork, well no fork was provided. We ordered 3 seafood boils, no utensils for that were provided neither. My husband ordered an extra drink, never was it brought to us. I’m happy my kids enjoyed it, but we were not that pleased as we saw others being treated differently. Not sure if we will be returning.“

“Sometimes the owner of uncle Bobby's bar will Grill some food. The atmosphere is very nice everybody knows each other a lot of active and retired fireman and policeman attend. Also a lot of Armed Force branches Services men and women attend this Bar. Very friendly place they also have a pool table a jukebox and a dart board, highly recommended“

Tommie is always a welcoming host. Plenty of security available on site to make feel comfortable. Crowd is generally 50+.“
