“It's been a year since we have been back to highland. We made it a priority to come back to the Wooden Tie and they didn't disappoint us one bit! Took a group of six around 5 pm. We were seated right away. Service was excellent even with the increase of customers. Brisket was the main item but wraps and chicken nuggets were also ordered. Awesome home made chips. The vegetable medley is a must have! Side salads are well put together. We ordered giant pretzel sticks with a really tasty cheese sauce. Many more items to try but it is a must go to place every time we come back. Great food! Great people! And not too hard on your wallet!”

“It’s just a terrific bar and grill. The flattop grill is so well seasoned, the burgers are delicious. Chili is great but only available in cooler/cold months. Sloppy Joes in warm weather. If you’re nearby, it’s a must-do dining experience.”

“I moved to Highland back in July of 2023. Recently got a job in town and recommended by my boss stopped in to Michael’s coffee shop. Had the best experience! Was not rushed she answered all of my questions and even asked if I would try my specialty drink before I left to make sure I liked it! My drink was perfect and their lemon blueberry muffin was delicious! 10/10 recommend this place and will definitely be going back. I wish I would have gotten her name but she gets 100/10 on providing amazing customer service!”

“The ice cream is delicious! Some unique flavors too! The employees are really really nice. They will have conversations and joke with you if you start talking. The place is full of bright colors and replicas of cakes. There are no chairs or tables inside but there are plenty on the square. They have little cups and cones filled with what I think is clay to show you what your ice cream with look like. They are definitely not stingy with how much ice cream they give you. Nor the toppings. :) They give you punch cards too! Definitely recommend if your in the mood for ice cream.

Dietary restrictions: Don't eat if your lactose intolerant. I think they have gluten free ones if i remember correctly.

Kid-friendliness: Just like you would expect, it's great for kids. It's ice cream!”

“We had my daughter's birthday party here. It was such a fun and unique experience and very different than other parties we'd held or attended. Every guest got to leave with their very own work of art. All we had to do was show up, and they took care of the rest. Everyone had an amazing time! Highly recommended, especially for birthday parties.”

The wings are always good as well. Danny does a great job as a server. We always try to get seated where he is. He’s friendly, he keeps glasses filled, and makes great recommendations.”

“I have to share a great experience! My family went to The 143 Hideout this weekend. I have to say I was impressed! I even told the owner I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was! I expected typical frozen bar food. No, I was wrong! A party of four adults and two kids, and not one complaint, just complete satisfaction! Oh, and full bellies! “this review is for the new Rexburg location in Mother hibbards have stopped in there four times within the last week to try the food and they never have anything in the warmer. no pizzas nothing. I went in there tonight. no food in the warmer. the kids that work there are sitting on the floor up against the wall doing absolutely nothing. Do they only serve Pizza at lunch and zero food for dinner? there's nothing anywhere that says what times they have food what time? they don't have food so tonight I went from hangar 54 right over to Valley wide and got me a personal pizza and now I'm headed to work.”
