“My cousin took me here for my birthday and I had a great time!! The bartender, Shelly, was the sweetest, nicest person ever! She was so helpful at picking drinks for me. I haven't been to very many bars and I really don't drink but she helped me pick out a couple really good drinks! The atmosphere and the other people drinking at the bar was so good. “Went there for lunch with a friend and our two dogs in the patio. The pups were greeted with cool water in dog dishes right away! The food and service were great! We had a taco salad and a bbq burger (one dog had bacon) and both were very tasty! It was wonderful to have a dog friendly restaurant to eat great food! Thank you!“

Very tasty, juicy and made well. Fries were not over cooked or over salted. This was a place I was going to pass on, but I am so glad I didn’t.“

“Was in Joliet and happened upon this bar and decided to stop. Best decision ever !!! The Bloody Mary’s are one of the best I’ve ever had and at a reasonable price ! They also had a nice choice of craft beers and a very welcoming bartender! We plan on stopping by every time we are in town !!!“

“We arrived here on a Sunday mid day when the place was not busy but within 30min there were so many families with unruly screaming kids we were wondering if this is a kindergarden party or a restaurant? We took a booth near the entrance and fortunately these big families were placed a bit further away, I felt so sorry for the poor old couple who had 3 screaming girls right near them - many old people are in poor health just like me and trust me, high pitched screaming are not helping when trying to eat ideally quietly. Apart from that, the food was great and had: amazing waffle chips, then steak while I had ribs for the first time in a long time - licking my fingers, of course. Staff was nice and friendly yet I sensed they are not allowed to tell these big families with screaming kids to quieten down, so I kind of feel sorry for the staff - management, think of a solution if you want to have mature people coming back here!!!“

“Decent bar food! Hizemans located in Naperville was a nice place for lunchtime! Rather for the locals, family, large crowds or newbies! Plenty of seating and very much spacious. Along with flat screen tvs that decorated the entire bar! You can tell this place be LIT for all the games! Our server was named Max. He was very attentive and pretty much laid back! His politeness and aura was amazing!. Customer service to the MAX! Haha! He greeted and seated our table right away. And took out orders which took no time to served our table. We ordered the BBQ boneless wings for starters. And for our entrees we order the elote dog, Philly, grilled cheese for the kid and the famous Hizeman smashed burger with two patties! Everything was good. Kid enjoyed her grilled cheese soft and cheesy! As it should be! My Philly and dog was delightful. I was craving a beef dog and the Philly sounded great! Burger was juicy, cheesy and the flavors were making my taste buds do the Macarena! Hahah! The Hizeman burger was a HIT! ! Great job chef! Simple menu and rocked the table! Always great to have a simple meal with no issues. The vibe was very much a bar scene with BOMB energy! Conversations left and right, a competitive environment with laughter and memories and bets to be made or broken!! Check em out!“

“Shout out to my man Cory. He’s a newer server coming from warehouse work. He was very nice and helpful while taking care of me and my family. He still learning the serving ways and from a former server I know he did his best to ensure we were ok and taken care of. When he wasn’t sure he said he’d go and ask someone so he can get us what we wanted. He was very polite and thanked us for being patient and that right there showed me he actually cared about what he’s doing. Definitely deserved the 40 percent tip.“
