“So I visited this place at least three times with a carry out order and customer service was awesome first time. Second I decided to go due to the good food and definitely the customer service, again awesome. Third, I enjoyed my food as always with recommendations from the young lady ( forgot her name). All three times I was either on crutches or knee brace. They were so sweet they helped me with my food to car an even told me to pull up to place and they’ll have my order ready for me! They were very nice to help me and for that I’m grateful. They went above and beyond. They made sure I was taken care of. So I brought my daughter there and she agree with the great customer service. I had the corned beef benedict and not only was it the best corned beef I've ever had in my life, but the orange juice was amazing, the service was great, and the value was fabulous also! “I placed an order to go. Was informed that there was a $3.00 to go charge and a gratuity would be added on the order cause it was over $100.00. After I checked the receipt, $18.35 was the gratuity. I thought it would be maybe $5.00. Very disappointed. Had I known this, I would have come into the restaurant and ate there had them provide me with service. I am a senior and that was definetly not right. I've already instructed my family not to get me gift card from Maple and Jam.“

“I come here once a week. I normally get 2 bowls of soup and my boyfriend gets 1 in addition to the other food we get. Today I wasn’t feeling well and wanted to get our soup to go. They wouldn’t sell us more than 2 cups of soup. Thats very irritating considering the fact we get 3 bowls every weekend. I can go down the street and get a whole quart of soup from another breakfast place. I will continue to come here because I love the food and service from Rachel but they need to step it up for sure. Sometimes they don’t even have soup.“

“I always love coming here & frequently do when I want a good hearty meal or bringing friends. We are always kindly greeted & welcomed when arriving. It smells wonderful & makes us more hungry! We are served a cup of soup (gratis) with every meal including breakfast (their soups are delicious). The staff is friendly & always accommodating. Our food is served hot in generous proportions & for the price (very reasonable compared to other restaurants of this kind), it can’t be beat. Greek owned, the hospitality & food is reflective of the Greek Culture, representing pride, family, community, friendship, kindness & duty of service that is offered to their guests. “The food was excellent! I started with the chicken lemon rice soup — it was a perfect 10/10.
My main dish was the chilaquiles verdes, which had just the right amount of spice (not too hot). The rice and beans were super tasty, and the avocado, sour cream, and over-easy eggs on top were a great touch.
Prices are very reasonable, the service was spot-on, and the place was super clean. We had a party of 6 and were seated comfortably at our table — plenty of room for everyone.
It’s a great family restaurant, perfect for breakfast or brunch. I’ll definitely be back!

“I have only been to this restaurant once. From the outside it looks like its barely hanging on. It needs some sprucing on the outside. The interior though is classic and traditional. It has an interior that Bronzeville's Pearls Place could really use and space that Valois in Hyde Park really needs. I can also recall how good the pancakes were. I can't say much about anything else. It's been a while. My hope is that they could clean up and modernize the outside. For this they may need an infusion of cash. I believe the outside is where the business falls off a bit I mean you wouldn't even think it was open for business. Its the only place worth eating at in the whole 8th ward. The area is filled with junk food options and it's a shame. I will be back soon.“

“First time Golden Bear in Lansing. The food and service was great. However, when I checked my bank account I was charged $9.98 more then the amount on the receipt I received from the register. When I went back the manager was very nice & helpful. She refunded the $. The restaurant receipt had the same amount. I pulled up my bank account & showed her the amount from my bank. We both thought it was so strange! Maybe the register malfunctioned? Again the manager was awesome!“

“My mom,me and my husband come here often. It's always fantastic. The waitresses r so sweet. We just love,Jamie,Lori,Michelle,kyston,Tina,Angela,. And the hostess r sweet too. We love Sam,but don't know the other ones names sorry. Food is usually on point. We love the soups too. We always get treated well. That's why we keep coming back. Wish they would be open for dinner. “Great place to grab breakfast. Arrive before 9:30am because the place folks up quick. The women's bathroom has tiny stalls and there are only 2 of them. You're given large portions by attentive servers and only 1 payment for coffee yields free refills.“

Service was exceptional, the waitresses were prompt and I was seated with no wait time.

Pricing was fair, especially for the portion sizes. The Irish plate will have you eating like royalty and is reasonably priced.

The meats were cooked to my liking, no uncooked bacon, and the potatoes were fully cooked to perfection. The eggs were cheesy and blended together easily in my skillet. “My husband and I found this diner like place by accident and decided to try it. Parking is in the back, small and busy but adequate. The restaurant itself is small but menu has an extensive choices. We opted for a no. 2 combo breakfast, 2 eggs, choice of bacon or sausage or ham, with hasbrown or Bialy's potato with onion and green pepper (extra $1 which my waitress didn't mention but I saw it in my bill), with pancake or buttered toast. Forvextra $5 something, you can choose French toast which was delicious and I am very picky with French toast and coffee. They're coffee was ok but would've be better with flavored cream which owner should think about. Also. Overall bill was not bad but FYI there is a fee if you use credit card so bring cash. Overall, I can recommend this place.“

The Staff is absolutely amazing 🤩 as well as 🤗 welcoming 😃 completed with the Customer Service introduction as you are being hosted to your seat 🪑🪑😄.
I ordered the Sirloin Steak 🥩😁 Tipsz this came with 🥞 🥞 which followed with a Delicious 🤤 😋 Watermelonlonade Blast 🍉 Drink.

The Steak 🥩🤔 wonderfully 😋 cooked 🧅🧅 onions grilled well seasoned, hash browns, scrambled 😀 eggs that were also cooked to perfection. The whole meal was divine.
