“It's a friendly neighborhood bar everybody is friendly in there everybody knows each other. They have great bartenders it's a place where you can play pool, shoot darts, they have an electric punching bag machine and some video poker machines as well. Also check out their sports wear, I have several items from their collection and they are reasonably priced and well made. So stop on by sometime“
“The Black Rose Saloon is a local hotspot in Princeton IL. They got a very nice stage with a great sound system. Strong stiff drinks, friendly staff, and delicious bar pizza!! Chris the owner is a gracious host and took care of us really well. They support local music so 5 stars all day!! ?????“
“First time at this restaurant! Food was good, best bbq I ever had? No, however the server was very prompt, polite and attentive. The food was good, I had the 1/2 lb combo, brisket, and pulled pork with baked beans and spicy cornbread. The beans and cornbread came out hot like out of the overn. The meats were good. Pork was a tad dry, but I nailed it with their spicy bbq sauce, which had a perfect amount of spice to it, not too hot. Brisket was tender as well. Wife had the trio of sliders, which she really enjoyed, and a side of sweet potato waffle fries, which they made fresh, so they were piping hot too. I would go back, the atmosphere was welcoming and the food was good.“
“Burgers awesome. But they forgot to put my spinach dip in with the chips. I had a half hour drive home and I gave a 25% tip. Now they want me to drive back down there next weekend to get spinach dip. Maybe check to see everything's in bag b4 customer leaves.“

“Any time we are out of Princeton and talking booze with friends, I end up talking about "our bar" - Barrel Society is that kind of place. The friendliest people, incredible selection of whiskey and beer. It's worth a drive to come hang out here.“
